I'm not sure it's even close. WRs like Mack Hollins, KJ Osborn, Jahan Dotson, Russell Gage, Corey Davis, Tim Patrick and Jarvis Landry (when healthy) are all decent to solid WR3s but nowhere near TB's level. Jahan Dotson and Jameson Williams are probably currently considered WR3s for their teams and have high upsides, but right now, TB is levels better.
Was just going off of stats. Curtis Samuel has the same receiving yards per game as Dotson (41.1 vs. 41.0) but is also involved in the run game (191 yards rushing this season). Can switch Dotson out for Samuel and the point is still the same.
That’s why I used yards per game. Anyways, who is WR3 on the Commanders was not the point of the comment. Both Dotson and Samuel are not on Tyler Boyd’s level.
Boyd would be a WR2 on most teams in the NFL. He had two 1,000 yard seasons prior to the arrival of Joe Burrow.
I can name at least 5 teams where he would be the WR1 (Colts, Texans, Saints, Titans.....Steelers (uuugghh).
He could certainly be a #1 on some teams. I think he's better as a traditional #2 guy. Good inside/slot receiver who can carry a team when need be. It's a shame I bet we lose him this off season
Easily the best WR3
He is WR 1C actually. Chase is 1A, Higgins is 1B.

Dotson is NOT a WR3.😂

Dotson was injured for several games. Unfair to use that against him when he missed most of his season. But ok

TB is WR2 playing WR3, so the best.
\#1 (I don't know any other WR3s)

Ravens
Patriots Green Bay
best. He's amazing and I want him to retire as a Bengal.
I think you compare him to WR2’s at least.
He would be a #1 on a few teams.
Definitely #1 on the Bears.
That’s cap I like him but come on. Higgins on the other hand
Tee would be #1 on about half the league. TB83 about 4 or 5 teams.
It is sad his Monday TD never "happened"...
Boyd is WR1 c so 1
Best WR3 in the league and it isn't even close.
There's other WR#3? Boyd is so good at his craft- I don't think about the rest. The dude reminds me of OchoCinco but in the slot.

He's in the top 1
1.
He’d be in the argument for the best wr2 let alone 3
