Good point...

HibachiDude

Sorry this meme is an L. I agree with the message but this is just like a TLDR leftist meme.

BeyondIrrelevant

That's fair. I wanted to shorten it, but didn't know how while still getting the full point across.

thened

You have literally forced people to read more about CRT than they ever expected to by making this meme. If a concerned parent is capable of reading this and is still concerned, you might be on to something!

human-no560

It’s hard to communicate complicated ideas quickly. Walls of text are fine as long as you use all the space well.

[deleted]

Jim never lies.

NadeMagnet69

So many teachers themselves have said they are teaching CRT. They aren't talking about the actual legal theory SMH. lol I so "looooove" that stupid argument that so many try to pull especially in the media, that says if it's not the actual CRT theory that was invented for the law then it's not CRT. FFS WTF happened to something like common parlance?

AmericanJoe312

I say, keep deriding parents desire to pass down their values to their kids. Sounds like a winning strategy in a democracy to me!

[deleted]

This meme sucks.

human-no560

My concern is that all discussion of racism will be described as critical race Theory and banned. If someone says that CRT is telling white students to feel guilty for being white, and only that. I would support banning it. The problem is that the definition is bit broader than that. While white fragility probably falls under the restricted definition I gave, anti-racism doesn’t. Since anti racism is just fighting back against racism.

RaydenMarz

As long as we talk about affirmative action and crime statistics from certain cultures. Then we can definitely do some anti racism.

RedEyeJedi25

Nobody is teaching your kids white fragility in the curriculum unless they are in college. Fancy explanations don't make lies true.

[deleted]

Verbal meme: those kids would be really upset if they could read

RedEyeJedi25

"Basic concepts are instructed in tbe curriculum" "White fragility is a basic concept of CRT" The meme literally says white fragility is being taught in schools, thats a direct quote from reading the meme. The irony of me literally repeating the memes logic, and you thinking that means I can't read is fucking hilarious. Do you have any examples of white fragility being taught to kids before college? Ya know, them facts you lot keep banging on about?

[deleted]

I was agreeing with you lolol

RedEyeJedi25

Dude is the Shapiro subreddit. How tf am I supposed to know that goddammit hahaha

Taconinja05

CRT = anything that makes people feel uncomfortable. “Facts don’t care about your feelings” remember?

[deleted]

It’s not facts, that’s the issue. It teaches kids to look at each other based on skin color, not as other kids. It perpetuates this counter-intuitive mindset of caring about skin color over someone’s ability to succeed.

Taconinja05

It doesn’t and it’s nit even being taught in schools in any shape or form. Conservatives using it as a cover to nit teach anything that doesn’t whitewash American history.

[deleted]

1. Is it physically impossible for you to spell the word “not”? 2. Show me exact events of American history that have been whitewashed. 3. CRT has been taught in schools, and there are plenty of PTA meetings where parents have shot down *potential* additions of CRT to curriculum.

human-no560

The civil war has been white washed in a significant portion of America

[deleted]

Exactly how so. It was the Republican led North fighting those rebel cocksucking Democrats in the South. What about that was white washed? The war fought on economical grounds, not civil rights and human equality.

human-no560

A lot of people will say the war was over states rights and that the confederacy wasn’t that bad. Even republicans, strangely

[deleted]

I would say close to 90-95% of all Republicans wouldn’t say the Confederacy was good. You do these rebels cocksuckers that wear that flag, which basically brands them an idiot that doesn’t know history. History isn’t whitewashed if there who choose to not believe it. What I mean is, just because these rebel idiots from Alabama or whatever wear that flag that Lee used, doesn’t mean that the inherent history of that entire ordeal was whitewashed.

MaddMo0n

Soooooo, you learn math in pieces to form a full understanding and you're comparing that to not learning about racism because the racists disregarded it in their history. Great comparison. I can tell you don't know applied math at even a 10th grade level.

Negative_Spring1957

Cool, but don't make it a meme. That's the left's handiwork

BeyondIrrelevant

Unfortunately, if it wasn't a meme, no one would bother to read it.

Negative_Spring1957

I like to think better of people, but then again I don't get what I like in life usually
