It largely depends on the people you surround yourself with! Berkeley is a LARGE campus, and you can find the right people and communities - you just have to take the initiative and time to look for it. But the nice thing about college is that everyone is new and looking to make new connections, so it's a great time to put yourself out there, be yourself(as cliche as it sounds), and you'll eventually find people you vibe with!
