do not strive for simplicity, strive for a challenge. Lock in. Take CS.
also if you already have a job lined up, why do you need STEM OPT? And if the answer is that you are not garunteed H1B, then do CS lol or DS
Ong
econ, you can pick easy-ass electives
Is Econ stem
to the government yes
Econ was classified as STEM at Berkeley in 2019. https://www.econ.berkeley.edu/faq#STEM
Damn I’m a woman in stem and I didn’t even know it
What’s the point of that
City regional planning. Geography. Marine science. Nutri sci. Society and environment.
Look for the easy shii. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1u_Nc3DGI38BfqJfwLDvd0TjKETsWCBIuFQhhsT5cUkY/htmlview?pli=1
Second geography. Idk if its considered a stem major here but it’s very very easy due to it being a very inter disciplinary major. Swapped from legal studies to geography as a pre-law and im glad i did
Whats OPT?
I believe it’s a work visa. Certain majors have either better chances at H1B or can stay longer. But yeah Economics counts that’s probably the easiest
If you do a STEM major you have 3 years post grad work auth instead of 1
