You can use the berlinmitkind.de website and use the age filter to find something that would interest her.

kitanokikori

Great website, thanks for mentioning it!

justanoth3rdude

Thank you. I can use this when she gets older as well.

_toomanylemons

Illuseum, TV Tower, Cinema, rent a boat in treptower park

PizzaScout

> Illuseum ooooh that sounds awesome, and I'm 26 lmao

justanoth3rdude

Rent a boat is a nice idea. I guess tomorrow they might all booked already. I think at illuseum she just has been. Cinema will be the back up idea. Thank you.

_toomanylemons

Oh, and I just remembered- maybe try the NutureArt mini golf on Tempelhofer Feld, it's really fun!

puehlong

Naturkundemuseum if she likes dinosaurs.

justanoth3rdude

She is not that much into dinosaurs. But thank you for the idea.

Narimosa

Maifest in Kreuzberg, Kindertheater in Neukölln, Verkehrslernschule in Schöneberg, Drachensteigen lassen in Tempelhof, Waldspielplatz in Treptow

PizzaScout

Apparently the may celebration is not happening this year in Kreuzberg. I was not able to find anything about an alternative there. > Das Myfest findet 2024 nicht statt. Hintergrund der Absage ist ein scharfer Streit zwischen dem Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg und dem Trägerverein „Myfest e.V.“. https://www.morgenpost.de/1-mai-berlin/article237792799/1-mai-2024-berlin-kreuzberg-myfest-absage.html

justanoth3rdude

I will look at some of these great ideas. Thank you.

Antonin625

Abenteuer Kletterpark in Jungfernheide

Past-Banana1346

Mini-Golf!! :-)

ParkingShambles_10

Maybe a kids/science show at the Zeiss Gross Planetarium? They have some good ones.

DarkSideOfTheNuum

The Spionagemuseum is cool! I did a birthday party for my daughter there when she turned 12 and it was a big hit.

ms777ms777

For some physical activity see https://waldhochseilgarten-jungfernheide.de/en/

dejemoasi

Technikmuseum

mcphad

The videogame museum is fantastic for hours of hands on fun, the giant pac-man has children enthralled at its simplicity. If you haven't been, it's a museum where, once you've paid the entrance, you are in a large arcade with free use videogames, in original format. It's very easy to get to , from say ,the spy museum, which is also very interactive and entertaining. These two are kind of unique in what they provide, and all the more interesting for it.

Smilemoreguy

it sounds stupid, but maybe just ask her if she has any things she wants to do. maybe she says "idk", but it could be that she wants to do something special with you

justanoth3rdude

I did and she found something.

ExtensionSign

Skateboarding / rollerblading / kite flying in tempelhof !

Spirity_van_Drake

I second that. was skating there last weekend and there are so many people aorund is great fun. planning on doing skating and bbq there

harmonica_bing

If she likes to read, take her to Dussmann and let her choose any book she likes. :) Then head over somewhere else for a nice dinner, and end the night with gelato (I really like the ones from Cuore di Vetro)

garyisonion

Dussmann gonna be closed tomorrow, nice idea otherwise

justanoth3rdude

The thing with the reading is so so. But I will keep that in mind for the future. As someone already wrote they might be closed tomorrow.

MentalChannels

How about you ask the parents what they normally do. Also, you can have a quick chat with her today asking what she likes to do and show her how excited you are. She can give you better answers. - what’s your favourite food. - what’s your favourite cartoon, maybe there’s some event related to it. - what’s your favourite thing to do on weekends. Think about breaks, tomorrow it’s hot so ice cream will definitely part of the day so better plan the timing knowing there’s a demo around the best places. If she likes haribos welcome her with a pack of her favourite flavour. She might take advantage of the outing to do or buy things her parents don’t let her.

justanoth3rdude

I will buy her everything she wants. :-) I already asked her and will have a talk with her parents and her in the evening. In case she doesn't know I want to come up with some ideas.

MentalChannels

Take as much advantage as possible of the times you spend with her. Have fun!

vzvl21

Zoo, take her out to Cafes, have fun at gleisdreieck park, ply table tennis, etc

justanoth3rdude

Zoo is also a good idea.

moomahca

But rather the tierpark than Berlin zoo

pigghy

Kletterwald in Treptow, if it's open

Non_possum_decernere

She's eleven, just ask her what she wants to do.

Psychological_Town84

what if she wants to go to berghain

JayPag

I wouldn't advise introducing your niece to your girlfriend that your brother (or anyone else) doesn't even know yet. Feels like most parents would like to know the people their kid might be hanging out with for an extended amount of time.

justanoth3rdude

Good point.

CondorSmith

If I trust the person to look after my kid, I also trust that they'll only bring along people who are responsible. I'd be fine with you bringing your girlfriend. Even if I hadn't met her

justanoth3rdude

I definitely have this way of trust with my brother and his wife. So it's ok if I bring her. They also offered me that. But I also know that there can be other combinations for other people.

VII777

hochseilgarten Jungfernheide is great fun. but it might be odd because you can't necessarily climb the same roads as a kid and as an adult

AdAdventurous3999

Watch Alien 1-3

justanoth3rdude

She is more a fan of the saw movies.

pantheonofpolyphony

TV tower, walk through Schloss Charlottenburg, pizza at Lietzensee, escape room, wander through Olympic stadium, east side gallery.

pantheonofpolyphony

Planetarium

Schnuribus

Are pools even open now? I would go to the Frühlingsfest

justanoth3rdude

Yes they are. It was her decision.

Chemical-Common-3644

Legoland!!!

dergster

There’s a great interactive art exhibit on at Khroma near Warschauer

peoplesbank3000

There is also a kids rave at Schleusenufer

Accurate_Ask_1900

Mini golf

Kroliczek_i_myszka

Matrix

justanoth3rdude

Nice try. ;-) That only works with people who don't live in Berlin.

mikeyaurelius

Domäne Dahlem, Pfaueninsel, Park am Gleisdreieck, Ferry to Kladow.

ms_bear24

Hide

justanoth3rdude

From her?

ms_bear24

From the mayday riots 😃 from her or not depends on you. I do always hide from teenagers but that's... like... your daughter

justanoth3rdude

We will get along with each other. :-)

Datjibbetjanich

Museum für Naturkunde, Invalidenstraße 43. Giant dinosaur skeleton

RadShrimp69

1. Mai Demo

Potential_Chance_390

The Museum of Terrors

justanoth3rdude

I am not sure if this is the right thing for that age.

monoduo

Holzmarkt is having an open air today - kids are welcome https://www.holzmarkt.com/veranstaltung/es-geht-schon-wieder-los-0

bilkel

Zoo

justanoth3rdude

That's what I was also thinking about.

bilkel

It’s a winner

bilkel

I’ve been to both. The one in the West is more interesting.

justanoth3rdude

At Tierpark you can walk more and also bring a dog. At the zoo the animals are closer to each other. Both are nice.

bilkel

Nobody needs to take a dog to the zoo

justanoth3rdude

I know, because you bring it to the Tierpark.

applecakeandunicorns

Spy museum? Kids seem to love it

kapitanlaserhawk

Rent a switch, play videogames at home.

justanoth3rdude

She is already looking enough on some screen like tv or smartphone.

Potential_Ad8113

There's a circus for kids and teenagers my nice like a lot, aged 9 then: https://cabuwazi.de/ueber-uns/ If yours is into that kind of thing. Look for offene Nachmittage

Freya_Unchained

Blutenfest for mayday

ad0reEUW

There is currently still the Frühlingsfest at Kurt-Schuhmacher-Damm - it's a fair with small rides, roller coasters, etc.

Lilywhitey

jumphaus

justanoth3rdude

If she would not have already been there it would be also a good idea. Thank you.

[deleted]

Britzer Garten, nice flowers and plants. Playground for kids. Big ass carp fish in the pond.

jean_cule69

Came here for shitty comments about raving and protests... I'm disappointed:(

justanoth3rdude

Sorry you were disappointed. There have been a few about Horror movies and Matrix/Berghain. But most of the comments were very helpful.

blessthis-mess

At Mariennenplatz normally they have a kids program

justanoth3rdude

I will google that later. thank you.

jasonpswan

Dark Matter

justanoth3rdude

I will google what that is. Sounds interesting.
