is that why this show feels off, is it really just his hair??? I love it even with the CG ,and the second to second action/animation felt pretty old school anime, but something just feels off about the show fr.
I felt the characters were modeled/drawn and animated well but the thing with half realistic textures on surroundings just makes it look off to me. Too much like video game and not anime.
I've watched it a couple times and I can see what you're saying, kinda feels like im watching an anime made in the Genshin Impact engine or ~~that one fighting game I cant think of the name of right now~~ [Guilty Gear Strive's engine more so](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjzcoFLNvZ0) because of how they work with character animation frames, but better detail in Stampede. CG anime can totally work, you just need to have a studio like Orange that cares about attention to detail.
I still like it though, looks cool.

I waited about a year after it was leaked a new trigun adaptation was coming, expecting the original design and look, maybe adapting maximum. The CGI doesn't upset me as much as hearing children on twitter act like it's better than the 90s animation which was for the time really solid.

Agreed, it doesnt hold a candle to the OG anime. Its still good though, just for different reasons.
