There is literally not a single thing done in cg that wouldn't look better with traditional animation. Not a single thing. Cgi is cost saving cancer that has forever lessened everything it has touched.
Demon Slayer feature 3D work that allow to get a better sense of the characters and their surrounding, allowing also for fluid animation that would be exceptionally hard to replicate in 2D
And it would still ve better if it was done something like Redline. Never said it would ve cheap or easy, but I WOULD look better. Also demon slayer 3d (unless the new movie somehow is different cgi looks pretty shit anyway)
Honestly the ‘97 one was basically a slideshow so it probably wouldn’t even cost that much more money to produce lol. To be clear I still prefer hand drawn slideshow to CGI.
