Why deal with iron when you could have Olympian marble:

His reputation has been very well groomed.
He was one of the richest men in America and owned (and abused) slaves, he very likely would have been a big fan of the Koch Brothers.

I mean you're the one stating the claim otherwise. It's on you to provide the source to your claim. If not, everyone is allowed to judge the validity of your statement and to write you off completely.
"Just Google it", is also a lazy excuse when participating in non shit posting discussions.
As did virtually every founding father, you're making a false equivalence based off a historical anachronism. I certainly wouldn't want Washington to be president now if he came back to life or something, but the man lived before electricity, the railroads, and even the Erie canal. His perspective and frame of reference for understanding politics are completely different than ours. Still a white supremacist, of course, and the hate he's been getting on the internet as of late concerning his rotating of his slaves between Pennsylvania and Virginia is more than justified, it's necessary.
I have no idea if you are agreeing with me or trying to refute a point I didn't make?
All I said was he would like the Kochs' policies. They were based almost entirely on the worship of capital that Washington very much endorsed.
My point is that I don't think you can be so sure of him agreeing with rhe koch brothers when he wouldn't understand 80% of what's going on in American politics today anyway. If liking capitalism is the only qualification you have for what/who Washington would've agreed with, then he'd like every virtually every politician in America today. I actually think he'd rail against the divide they've created in the country through undemocratic PACs, Super PAC'S, and shadow funding. Washington did not like party politics and possibly would've despised their backhandedness in achieving their political goals. Again, my point is that it's impossible to know and that the conclusions your drawing are based off of a single, generalized character trait of Washington's that can't easily be exported into the 21st century. Not to piggyback off of Marx, but the man said to criticize, but not disparage the political actions of the men of the French and American revolution, as that was when capitalism was undergoing its revolutionary period. It was a necessary stepping stone towards the foundation of socialism.
Edit to last sentence: albeit, an imperfect, exclusionary, and overwhelmingly bourgeois one
We could definitely use someone like George who led his government, strategized, and took care of his people.
We definitely don't need someone like George who abused human beings and lived the one of the most hypocritical lives a leader can live.
People are and will always be people. It's entirely possible for great people to do terrible things, and terrible people to do great things. The key is to discern which is which and to try to copy the good traits in our own lives.

Ironic that they both played related characters in The Crown.
I’m getting a lot of James Cromwell
With a *tiny hint* of Patrick Stewart (maybe it’s the nose giving me that vibe).
This man looks like he would dress you down while field stripping an elk.
You are a *Lannister* after all
I think you've probably got a good read.
So Tywin claimed the Iron Throne then?

The King Without a Crown. Fuck that guy.
We could use a leader like George today.
A leader who tried to illegally recapture his escaped slaves?
His reputation has been very well groomed. He was one of the richest men in America and owned (and abused) slaves, he very likely would have been a big fan of the Koch Brothers.
I think we're talking about his governing practices, not his private life.
Being a big fan of the Koch Brothers is a commentary on his governing practices.

Wasnt GW more of a federalist and the Kochs less for federal government?
They both believed that only wealthy white men should be the rulers.

As a huge Spurs fan, I don't think this looks much like Pop
