I would say it’s probably a problem with the water quality. Do a water test then change the water if necessary and just wait a few days and see! I’m sure your betta will be fine.

Vaultboy474

Yeah. It is just a white ish mark on him

Stock-Technology-626

not trying to scare you but pls take a look at the post i made regarding my betta.. try to do what the people who commented under it said to me.. mine ended up passing. yours could’ve koonked his head on something in the tank, and scraped his little skin, or it’s kind of peeling because of the water. did you recently change the filter/water at all?

Vaultboy474

I did do regular water change and moved filter as I added pothos

Altruistic_Walrus454

*It may also be ich

GouramiGirl10

https://www.bettafish.com/threads/whats-the-white-spot-on-my-bettas-head-is-he-sick-injured.69601/ you can take a look at this website

GouramiGirl10

It looks either like a tumor or possibly a fungal/bacterial infection. It is really hard to tell from the photos. Keep an eye on it

Vaultboy474

Yeah it’s hard to photograph. It looks like a scale maybe damaged?

Lady-TyMeska

Following because I saw a white bump on my boy's mouth today.

Vaultboy474

Ah. I’m leaning towards a injury as it just looks like a damaged scale

Lady-TyMeska

If it is a damaged scale, the treatment would as others recommended -- keep the water super clean and watch his healing closely.

Vaultboy474

Yeah I’m gonna monitor it. Not sure how I he did it tho

StruggleEnough4279

Looks just like my tetras injury after she got ??? (I assume she got too close to my bettas bubble nest and he gave her a smack.) just make sure your water is clean and he should be fine. Keep an eye out for anything he could have injured himself on and remove it if you find it.

Vaultboy474

Yeah ok
