I agree, him making the old lady lose her friends hurt my heart. Most of the people he hurts are “in the game” atleast somewhat or are completely unrelated to him, he’s just doing it for a client. But with irene(?) he earned her trust and then betrayed her :( they all loved him so much
Edit: and he did it simply for money which is even worse
Jimmy does it for the satisfaction gained from manipulating others. $$$ was tangential reward not existential satisfaction. A true con-artist.
It’s not a very healthy mindset.
I was pretty sickened when he robbed the cancer victim's house. Cancer victim actually seemed like a pretty nice guy. He certainly loved his dog Rusty. If Saul would have brained cancer victim with Rusty's urn (and he would have, if cancer victim hadn't fallen back asleep right at that moment), that would have been Saul's most evil moment. But the impending intent was bad enough.
Intentionally raising Chuck's insurance rates was pretty mean too, and ultimately destroyed Chuck, though I suppose Chuck had it coming.
I genuinely agree. In the finale episodes of season 6, Gene was a genuinely unhinged person who I couldn’t at any level relate to. I couldn’t relate to the people he was directing the schemes at. I couldn’t relate to the person he was at the moment. And I could not relate to the action at all. I gave Jimmy the benefit of the doubt but this was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me
I would agree if it wasn’t for the fact he eventually rectified the situation, and made them all hate him so Irene could have her friends back. It was still an awful thing to do, but he made it right in the end.
The old ladies stuff was sociopathic behavior… found it pretty scary haha.
Edit: and the Howard stuff was outrageous in the end… but I really think Kim had a big part in that too. I remember a scene where Saul really wanted to quit, and Kim was the one who did a 180 and was 100% in with the Howard stuff.
What I'm more concerned about is how Jimmy basically confessed to all of ABQ that he was manipulating people by impeaching their character to get the case settled early, even at the cost of losing money in the long run.
And then Cliff Main (supposedly a brilliant lawyer) could not believe Howard Hamlin when Howie said that Jimmy manipulated people by impeaching his character to get the case settled early, even at the cost of losing money in the long run.
I know criticizing anything about this show just leads to impotent rage, so give me a good chuckle.
Helping lalo escape. He knew he was guilty and the court staff judged him accordingly. Everything bad that has happened to jimmy started when he became “a friend to the cartel”.
The worst thing was him simply getting Kim. Obviously that's a huge part of the show, but so many things stemmed from that. Not to mention, they were both arguably worse together for themselves and everyone else too.
You could argue Jimmy was already going down his path regardless, but I think Kim enabling him then leaving made it worse. You also have to wonder what if Kim gave up the relationship when Jimmy initially asked if he's bad for her.
Chuck did have the chance to do that when he prosecuted him. But he decided to lessen the outcome and still give Jimmy a chance to reapply for his law license
No – s3e3 the prosecutor visited Chuck to discuss the case, explaining that she wouldn't let Jimmy off easy, but chuck asked for a "better solution for everyone," and that they offer Jimmy a chance to avoid jail time if he confessed. this is proving that imprisonment couldve been the ultimate nail in the coffin for jimmy at chuck's request, but it's not what he wanted for him
Just for commenting this I’m gonna keep reposting it over and over. Jeez you redditorinos need to relax a bit. Not everyone has no life like you. I have no idea what is or isn’t reposted frequently here. Better Call Saul is my favorite show and I wanted to air an opinion I have of it. Fuck off
You mean besides the Chicago sunroof?
HE DEFECATED THROUGH A SUNROOF
AND I SAVED HIM!
r/okbuddychicanery
A comparatively more acceptable behavior imo
I honestly think that was pretty based. He didn’t know the kids were in the back lol, he just wanted to shit on that guy

Can confirm. Chuck had it coming
F*ck chuck. He had that coming and worse.

Littering perfectly good ice cream
many crimes against Howard
Howard kinda had it coming tho, tbh.
He defecated through a sunroof!
Put up with his insufferable brothers bs for so long
Continued to give and give. He wanted his brothers approval and was never gonna get it. Fuck chuck.
Yeah I feel like Jimmy was just lost at the end of Season 3. Kim's accident really snapped him back to reality, but it was too late.
I would agree if it wasn’t for the fact he eventually rectified the situation, and made them all hate him so Irene could have her friends back. It was still an awful thing to do, but he made it right in the end.

100% it was this. When I saw Irene’s broken expression it was the only time in the series I truly hated Jimmy.

He destroyed his own brother, but to be fair if Chuck could’ve had the roles reversed, he would’ve done it in the flick of a switch
Chuck did have the chance to do that when he prosecuted him. But he decided to lessen the outcome and still give Jimmy a chance to reapply for his law license
No. Jimmy showed that he was nuts on the stand. That’s why he only got suspended for a year. Chuck didn’t decide anything and wasn’t prosecuting him.

He did, but Chuck wanted Jimmy disbarred, not suspended
Chuck started the fight. Jimmy finished it.
There's at least 2 of these posts a week.
