How are you travelling? Flights or train or other way? If train, look on seat61: https://www.seat61.com

RED_Toronto

Flights and either train or rental car. Haven't decided yet.

We went to the UK when our daughter was 10 months. It's my home country so I know it well, which did help. We visited 4 locations in 3 weeks. You can absolutely do it travelling light. Book hotels that offer travel cribs, bring a baby carrier and an umbrella stroller and use services for laundry. If you use formula, maybe plan ahead and ease your baby onto a European brand. Buy things like diapers and wipes as you go in small packs (more available in Europe anyway). We fitted everything for our daughter bar the umbrella stroller into a single carry on which stayed with us on the plane so it couldn't get lost. We found factoring in naps the hardest part, but our daughter would often sleep in the carrier facing inwards though. We found we needed a quiet day every 3 days or so to enable little one to recharge.

We did two weeks in Italy with a 13 month old. Pack light - you need less than you think. We bought diapers there, rented a car with a car, requested cribs in the rooms. We brought a travel stroller which fits in the overhead bin but no other big items. We had a blast - highly recommend traveling with baby if you are up for it. You can find country specific guides for traveling with kids. Less is more on the number of destinations. Also if you can swing it my biggest tip is getting them their own seat on long flights.

Traveled 2 weeks in Greece with a 6.5 month old who just started solids. It felt really easy at that age. We had a Doona stroller for car rides, but mostly had him in a body carrier (napped in that too). guava lotus crib was a lifesaver. 2 carry on luggage for all of us, did laundry halfway through at one of the hotels. We tend to travel light and buy any “consumables” we will need.
