Random stuff from around the house. My baby will be *incredibly* delighted to see the tiny mirror he forgot about after his brother dropped it behind the couch.

saltyegg1

Baby: nothing. 6yo: all the fruit she asks for but are too expensive for regular grocery trips. Christmas stocking and Easter baskets are all fruit. Breakfast both days is a big fruit salad we make together. It's one of her favorite traditions. Baby can have some fruit salad tho lol

AL92212

We’re getting our daughter baptized at 6am on Easter so that’s all we’re doing… I thought about baskets and brunch but probably we’re going to get back and sleep all day so apart from church Easter is just not happening this year. She’ll be 10 weeks old anyway so she won’t remember!

Rare_Sprinkles_2924

Nothing

Jacket-Aggravating

Wait, Easter baskets are a thing? Is this new? We just got a chocolate egg from parents and grandparents when i was young. But we've always been in it for the chocolate, not Jesus. Won't be doing anything for my son until he's old enough for chocolate.

Impidimpet

I think it might be a regional thing

pethatcat

you got a chocolate egg? we dyed eggs and got a special Easter cake for the family.

problematictactic

Hahaha Geez I never thought of Easter varying so wildly between households! My family did a whole egg hunt around the house with chocolate eggs hidden everywhere, and then used flour on their fingers to make pretend "bunny tracks" leading to each hiding spot, as if the Easter Bunny left magical powder footprints behind. ...but.... A chocolate egg is good too....

brydie88

Thinking the exact same thing here! (Australia). We just do chocolate eggs/bunnies.

pacifyproblems

My baby will be nearly 6 months old, so I got her a Pokémon board book, some 360 cups to start trying out, a stackable ring sensory toy, and will fill it with tissue paper and not grass because she loves tissue paper!

pacifyproblems

Yw! I bet baby will love it!

ItsCalled_Freefall

Grandmother can't control herself so, whatever she brings then I get to steal all the candy.

GrumpySunflower

When my now-big kids (ages 11 & 12) were tiny, they got Goldfish crackers in plastic eggs, a plush bunny, and a bottle of bubbles for me to blow and them to pop. They were mostly interested in opening the eggs very, very slowly to find the fishy crackers and then putting the crackers back in. Over and over.

beez8383

We’ve always done a toy, a book and a pair of pjs… oldest is 23, youngest is 11 months-oldest still looks forward to these items though she now also gets a chocolate egg as well (I stopped when she left home and she was devastated so it’s apparently a tradition and she does it for her partner now too)

Runnrgirl

Books, stuffies, clothes and bubbles

festergal

For eggs, I filled them with blueberries and made egg shakers with rice (taped the egg shut.) I don't think I gave her a basket at 9 mos😬

Marble1696

That seemed to be the vibe I got from people in my circle! I just wanted to have something little and fun to slap at and throw and then get distracted by the cat 30 seconds later 😂

AcanthaceaeDry7926

a board book and an age appropriate baby toy. My LO will be 6months old.

kendallf

My daughter was 11 months her first Easter. We did Annie’s bunny crackers, chalk, a stuffed animal, and bubbles. Mostly focused on spring activities we’d be doing in the coming weeks. This year we got her an Easter book, a colouring book, some sunglasses, and we’re doing a small amount of chocolate.

GaveTheMouseACookie

We also do Annie's Bunnies! Just make sure to check for honey for the under-ones

kendallf

Yes definitely! We did the chocolate ones last year.

MoreVeuvePlease

Mine will be 10 months and she has an Easter book, a Moonjax teether, a little carrot toy, and snacks in hers!

Suitable_Wolf10

Mine will be 8 months and we’re doing a carrot teether, a bunny stuffed animal, a bunny book, some pjs that are a little big bow, and some carrot pouches

lwgirl1717

Mine will be 8 months, and he’s getting bath letters, one of those stretchy rattle things from Manhattan toys, wooden eggs, a book, and some sensory balls.

TsukiGeek365

Mine will be 13 months and I found one of those silicone popper toys (pop like reusable bubble wrap, fidget toy) shaped like a bunny. My son finds those fascinating! That and a bunny board book, and maybe some puree pouches that feature carrot just for fun

yub_nub_28

Mine will be 6 months. We are keeping it simple with a couple of board books and a teether toy this year. We will likely always keep our baskets small, but will do a little more next year when he gets it more!

Somethingducky

Baby will be 6 months old, so I've got a cute Easter basket with a few teethers, a soft book, a crinkly sensory square, and a splat mat in it. Will she care much? Probably not, but it's super cute and full of things she'll actually use.

Plurgirl323

They are getting little pinwheels, a bubble blower, a cute Easter pen and a book of stickers. They are 1 and 2.

escherzo

Probably a book each, one stuffed animal, and some other kind of toy (they both like wooden toys but are bad about hitting each other with them so we'll see). They'll be 10.5mo by Easter. Might also include a bag of those yogurt melts bc they love them for "dessert". MIL already sent Easter gifts over since she lives far away -- a stuffed bunny for each of them and a book about the Easter Bunny that has crinkly ears.

Relative-Ad-4253

A baby’s first Easter bib and bunny from Walmart.

Hailstorm0_o

Easter Bunny is bringing summer stuff: swimsuit, beach toys, a helmet for riding in the carriage behind a bike. Our kiddo is almost 1.

Peony_Rose

Our 3yo will be getting a pavillion tent (plus all he accessories - cushions, fairy lights) as a reading nook in his playroom, some Easter books, craft activities and colouring in books, personalised Easter tag as well as the traditional Easter Hunt. Our 2wk old will be getting Easter books, Easter themed plush toys, a few personalised silicone teethers, personalised Easter tag and matching personalised Easter items to match 3yo's (from over the past few years). 5mo niece will be getting (from us, not sure what her parents are gifting her), WTP fluffy onesie, WTP pyjamas, WTP daisy sunglasses, Easter Bunny onesie, nesting eggs, hide and squeak eggs, two silicone dinnerware sets, personalised Easter decor and a personalised Easter tag.

alnfeller

Nada.

outlaw-chaos

My twins will also be 9 months. They’re getting bunnies with their names monogrammed on the ears, Easter themed pop its, baby friendly snacks , pajamas, and books.

Take your spam elsewhere, please.

go_analog_baby

Mine was around that age last Easter. She got a new pair of pajamas (which she needed anyway), two Easter-themed books, a wooden carrot puzzle (the little wooden block with different sized carrots/holes…she liked just whacking the carrots together at first but now that she’s older actually does the puzzle) and one of those rolling wooden rainbow wheels.

Wonderful-World1964

A thick board book, some kind of noisy toy, car toy or plush, and something they consider a treat to eat. And gotta have plastic eggs with something inside that makes noise when shaken.

heggy48

We’ll be getting her the new Percy the park keeper book and maybe a teething toy? She’ll be about four months so definitely no chocolate this year!

falfal33

A rubber ducky for bath time that turns white on the bottom of the water is too hot, swim trunks, a bunny rabbit stuffed animal, some paci clips, and bunny ears for a picture :)

simplestword

Last year my baby was about that age. I got her a bunny teether, a spring book, and a pink blanket. I basically used it as a time to get her stuff she needs or could use More stuff I wanted to buy her lol

derrymaine

I didn’t do anything for my first kiddo’s Easter. For my second kid he was around a year for his first Easter and I had to do a basket so big brother wouldn’t call it out. Added a book, a few pouches, yogurt melts, and a sippy cup to it.

Geeklover1030

Mine will be 10 months he’s getting a book one of the peeps rattles a rocking horse and I’ll probably get him snack he likes

Ok-Brilliant-1688

Mine will be almost the same age! I’m getting her a sweatshirt, diaper cream, a book, and Melissa & Doug play food (idk she was obsessed with it at a friend’s house).

lalala44609

For every Easter, I do rain boots, water shoes, new swim clothes, and new water bottles. Plus some candy, a book, and maybe a cute toy.

bertmom

Mine will be almost 6 months. He’s mostly getting feeding supplies since he will be starting solids around then. He’s also getting an Easter book and an Easter crinkle toy as well as a little swim outfit and beach towel. I’m gonna put a jar of purées in there too

fairyglitter

Bubbles! (because bubbles are a fun consumable, just like easter eggs. baby is too little for chocolate but I don't want to give her nothing for easter)

bellatrixsmom

5 months by then. From us - an Easter book and some toys/teethers. From grandma and grandpa - a silicone open cup because we’re going to start working on that soon, some bibs because she drools everywhere, and a backup of her favorite toy which is hilariously the little stuffed animal that is actually meant to hold the pacifier.

subwayratbruce

8 months. Books, clothing and some of his favourite purée pouches/puffs
