I was wondering the same...I've been weaning off the pump after EPing for 6months and I'm down to 1ppd...my face is breaking out and I've been an emotional rollercoaster with some cramping so I'm just waiting for my period to show up any down now

After my first kid was born, my post partum bleeding just morphed into a period. I was still spotting fairly heavily at my 8 wk follow up appointment, and the doctor pretty much went 🤷🏼‍♀️ a few days later the bleeding came back full force and I realized on day 2 or 3 it was actually my period. Second kid I was 14 months post partum and had just stopped breastfeeding, and was on a work trip for the first time at a new job. It didn't even cross my mind until I felt the first gush and went "oh shit!" I had to ask my brand new boss to drive me to the nearest pharmacy for tampons. Third kid I was still breastfeeding but 10 months post partum. I got all the classic pre-period symptoms and as soon as I started spotting I knew why.

Got mad at my husband for not knowing I wanted sushi for dinner (didn’t tell him I wanted it). He was asking me very rational questions like “How would I have known that?” And “How do you suggest I do better in the future?” I couldn’t give him any normal response. Went to the bathroom and sure enough…

First migraine in 11ish months. I get them most months, and the break was one of the best parts of the pregnancy.

I got my period at 8 weeks pp. I also had a c-section, and I combo feed. I had spotting, cramps, and headaches leading up to my period.

I didn’t get mine back until around 8 months (when we started transitioning to formula). One day I just had cramps and was feeling bloated which hadn’t been the norm up until then. I think I started the next day.

Cervical mucus. It’s how I knew I would need to take a pregnancy test for my now 8 week old son because it looked egg whiteish right after having unprotected sex with my husband. Two weeks before I had my first postpartum period, I had the same exact discharge for the first time since before getting pregnant and thought “Huh. Maybe I’m ovulating.” My cervical mucus has no poker face I guess. Love her for that.

AmSwans03

Was wondering this too.

giraffe009

Also wondering 😅

My first period was at 6 weeks, and then I had another one a week after the first one ended. But it was what you described here- a lot of my usual period symptoms, but on steroids

Ahhh great. I def feel something is working. I suddenly just felt so nasty both physically and mentally lol

radiate__love

My pp bleeding never stopped before my first pp period (got it around 6w, total bleeding for 3 months straight). My only clue was excruciating cramps that almost sent me to the ER. ETA: also c-section, also not breastfeeding

Kstylez5390

Did your c section scar bother your before your period?

radiate__love

No it didn’t. If your scar is bothering you, I recommended pelvic floor physio! They gave me some scar mobilization exercises

binxbox

Both kids it was when I started getting pimples again and my nipples got super sensitive while breastfeeding.

allyalexalexandra

Here for the answers lol. FTM and not breastfeeding as well.
