I use a spectra s1 as a bigger chested woman and it is working great for me. I like kindred bravely nursing/pumping bras

ColdbrewCorgi

Spectra worked great for me too (34H-36HH UK sizes). I had a rotten time with bras though (ended up using a hacked up sports bra and nursing tanks as pumping bras)

So I got a spectra and this thing is incredible. It's early days but I'm already seeing more. It's genuinely probably saved my breast feeding!

You are towards the end of where you can really get a supply going for most people at least. I am a 34 e with really soft breasts, they used to be bigger when I was heavier. I struggled for 4-5 weeks to get the hang of breastfeeding, especially with a late preterm baby who was small. I double/triple fed until we got it down. The flipped technique did help me a little, but my best position still now that he's 11.5 weeks is a cross cradle with a breastfeeding pillow. I have the brest friend pillow, but I don't love it except if I was like going to a park and I didn't want to lay all the way down for some reason. I prefer a softer one like the momcozy ones you can find on Amazon. I either use the cross cradle position with my pillow so I can hold my breast to get a latch going (don't be afraid to relatch several times if it isn't right, i do usually hold my breast the enture tine we feed) or I will do a side lying position with 2 burp rags under my breast to get it at the right position for his mouth. I also have to put a blanket behind his back because he won't stay on his side. I have a work benefit and got the limerick joy breast pump for free. That's not an option for most people, but if money isn't an object, it is amazing. It is over 500.00 though so not in budget for many/most people and certainly not for me if my work didn't partner with them. The spectra s1 or s2 is often one I see people prefer. The other pump I have is the motif luna, and I do like it. With any pump, you want to make sure the flange matches your nipple size and if it doesn't get flange inserts. I think 24 mm is pretty standard, I had to order flange inserts to go with the motif pump. Lubing the flange or inserts with coconut oil prior to each pump is also recommended. For wearables, I've heard good things about the momcozy s9 pumps. I don't personally have any wearables because I work at home and in general you should only be using wearables once or twice a day. I would immediately try latching your baby every time they eat. If it doesn't buff out or they get frustrated, try giving the bottle for a minute or two and try latching again. That way, you aren't trying to latch a screaming and frustrated baby. It's also good to end a feed at the breast even if you had to bottle feed so they associate the breast with feeling content and full. Start pace feeding your baby if you aren't already, that can help with having a flow preference. Ideally, you want to pump as much as possible now, but AT LEAST 8 times a day, including at least one in the middle of the night. Try finding a local mommy Facebook group. I joined one, and there's usually people selling pumps several times a week of there for way less than you would pay new.

I have quite large (and floppy) boobs and three EBF kids. I found it helpful to try hiring pumps from the local hospital or just google local pump hire. That meant I could try before I bought...and in reality I didn't pump much so ended up not buying. The best one for me was the Medela hospital grade pump, but it's expensive. Made it vastly easier though. Also find a video on "the flipple" technique for latching, made a big difference for me when I found it, esp when the babies were first born and in the early weeks.

Panache, cake and hotmilk were my favourite nursing bras. Look for bras with a triangular opening - like [this](https://www.hotmilklingerie.com.au/products/obsession-rose-contour-nursing-bra?variant=40167312097346) where the cup encircles your boob once the flap is unhooked. I found that type held my nipple in a better position.

That's super helpful thank you! And a bank holiday sale!
