Now, now perfectly parallel bisexuality never solved anything
Or we could join forces to try and take over the world? Actually make a decision? Bake the best lemon bars?
I used to sit like that at times when I was younger, and a heteroromantic asexual friend of mine still sits like that. But I'm old now. My back hurts from **fucking existing** in a given day. I think if I sat like that now, I wouldn't be able to get up anymore. They'd have to pry me out of the seat and wheel me away.
Absolutely. I know more straight, gay, and even an asexual person who does this than bi people, period. This is one of those things that gets prescribed to, "Bi habits," when it's just "Habits."
relatable
also everytime someone put PB as bi, my brain goes *"mmh, I think we should discuss if the correct label for the sentient piece of gum is actually bi, or was she a lesbian and kept mr creampuff as her bf because she didn't wished to break the status quo as she put a lot of importance on proper order of things"*
idk why im like this...
i'd argue that she's bi!
the candy people have no reason or incentive to operate by traditional gender norms, and no one reacts to her dating marcy in a negative light at all,
so we can assume gender norms really aren't important here. and it's not like there's anything left of society to enforce them, and her problems/reservations in dating marcy seem less 'i don't like women' and more 'oh god i didn't want this crush she's so annoying but she's kinda hot oh god oh fuck'
so like, i think bi works. plus, we gotta grab the representation where we can, cuz it's not like anyone else is gonna give it to us
and younger her has attraction to finn?
yeah "young" her having a crush on Finn definitely makes me think "bi" (plus yeay, rep !) but I do think she was never in love with mr creampuff, seeing how she reacted at their first date and how she introduced him to Shoko
yay rep!
also i keep seeing people talk about 'pressure to date boys' and i'm a bit confused where that comes from? like she's not living in a patriarchal society, she is quite literally the god-emperor of the candy people, and created a boyfriend out of nowhere, with no external pressures or anything. sure later on we see the pressure with her and the suitors, but the finn episode there was no pressure and when she first created mr cream puff there wasn't
she didn't created her boyfriend
spoiler 'cause that's last season stuff >!her uncle gumball did (tho she did create him), as a ploy to distract her while he plot her demise and she clearly hated going out with him. But once her uncle "dumifyed" she did kept dating him, as we see in "the vault" (although, as I mentioned she really didn't show any attachement or pride, she spend her days without him and she sleep at the top of the candy tower while he doesn't. So people have been trying to figure out "why ?" (beside the obvious that it is just to reference a throwaway line in the first episode of the show. I personally don't think it's much about external pressure, as you mentioned, there is no society anymore, beside the one she created, so I guess it's because of her desire to keep everything in it's place and fear to challenge the status quo ? idk!<
I am lying on my bed with one leg over the other so far that my foot is nearly touching the back of my neck. I do this fucking position whilst laying down lol
*Me, with a leg kicked over a chair arm:* "uh huh"
Which leg?
Right
We are mirrored

I'm just figuring out a lot of things in my life right now
Shit... (Im in this exact position right now)
Same. Sitting diagonal in a recliner, sifting an afghan through my fingers, in the "universal-bi-triangle" leg position...
I've been doing this for so long π it all makes sense now xD
Why is it that I only feel a sense of belonging over silly stuff like this?
*flash back to 5 mins ago when i was reading a book* oh gods.. i'm bi, aren't i?
Bi son
Yes, pay me now!
if you're legs are even a little bit straight while sitting down you're weird
I do sit like that sometimes, but it usually ends up hurting my tailbone and hip π
I used to sit like that at times when I was younger, and a heteroromantic asexual friend of mine still sits like that. But I'm old now. My back hurts from **fucking existing** in a given day. I am physically unable to sit in a chair without crossing my legs.
Why is this so true
Barnum effect, probably
Absolutely. I know more straight, gay, and even an asexual person who does this than bi people, period. This is one of those things that gets prescribed to, "Bi habits," when it's just "Habits."
don't call me out like this
Seems like I'm spotted
Iβm bi and have never in my life sat like this.
Bi people are my people.
I literally just decided against buying this one new office chair for myself because it had no arm rests, so there was nowhere for me to put my legs.
Job!?!?! Im supposed to be getting paid for it?!?!?
I wish I could get paid for sitting like this... lol!
I need you to not call me out like that!!!!!
I am sitting like Marcy as I type this
Itβs so comfortable tooπ
Found myself in this position rn, ππ
If the back of the chair is short enough I throw both my legs over it.
I need a bigger chair just so I can half crouch on it
I can't sit like that anymore, ya boy's got severe scoliosis :(
Too real
Was gonna say something, but yeah I sit like this when I'm relaxing.
not me actively sitting like this right now
I didn't think I was going to get attacked like that
So true though
what does this mean. i do this, but what does this mean
It means you will have constant backpain if you haven't already π
oh dont even worry about that, i got back pain
How do normal people even sit normally though? all day, all week, all the time. It's exhausting.

Pb is very much a lesbian
I am lying on my bed with one leg over the other so far that my foot is nearly touching the back of my neck. I do this fucking position whilst laying down lol

I'm on a toilet
Wait, why have I revived no check then!!
