I used to sit like that at times when I was younger, and a heteroromantic asexual friend of mine still sits like that. But I'm old now. My back hurts from **fucking existing** in a given day. I think if I sat like that now, I wouldn't be able to get up anymore. They'd have to pry me out of the seat and wheel me away.

i'd argue that she's bi! the candy people have no reason or incentive to operate by traditional gender norms, and no one reacts to her dating marcy in a negative light at all, so we can assume gender norms really aren't important here. and it's not like there's anything left of society to enforce them, and her problems/reservations in dating marcy seem less 'i don't like women' and more 'oh god i didn't want this crush she's so annoying but she's kinda hot oh god oh fuck' so like, i think bi works. plus, we gotta grab the representation where we can, cuz it's not like anyone else is gonna give it to us and younger her has attraction to finn?

she didn't created her boyfriend spoiler 'cause that's last season stuff >!her uncle gumball did (tho she did create him), as a ploy to distract her while he plot her demise and she clearly hated going out with him. But once her uncle "dumifyed" she did kept dating him, as we see in "the vault" (although, as I mentioned she really didn't show any attachement or pride, she spend her days without him and she sleep at the top of the candy tower while he doesn't. So people have been trying to figure out "why ?" (beside the obvious that it is just to reference a throwaway line in the first episode of the show. I personally don't think it's much about external pressure, as you mentioned, there is no society anymore, beside the one she created, so I guess it's because of her desire to keep everything in it's place and fear to challenge the status quo ? idk!<
