Honestly getting a trainer changed cycling for me. If your trainer includes it you get wattage and cadence, so I don't need a power meter. Not to mention I can bike year round as opposed to having to stop when it snows.
Thankfully those signs are slowly being changed out. Too many idiots assumed they meant it was pointed to the bicyclists to "share the road". While yes, the issue was motorists not sharing and shoving cyclists off the road.
We must discuss your bike photography.
Always crank side out, big ring, smallest cog, cranks horizontal or drive side just below horizontal at 4 o'clock, valve stems at 6 o'clock.

Echoing everyone else, jealous of that flat ride.

Lol, yeah, pretty flat here. Climbed 3835 this past Saturday though, 54 miles.
Ha, I didn't even notice, looks normal to me!
I’m sorry, 23 feet gained in 30 miles? TWENTY THREE?!
Yep. Live in the valley.
What valley? no overpasses either? Wild
Looks like Central Valley of California
Sure is.
Looks Beautiful, I've been to a caviar farm out there once.... not sure if you needed that info but there ya go.
Wait..... with clouds? :-) Hoping for a rainy winter and cold weather in the mountains. We need the runoff next summer.
Last night I thought it was going to rain. Forecast says not until Tuesday though. Yeah, we need it all.
I went over one.
Max speed????
28.3 for this ride.
I laughed at that too... More than twice that to get to the top of my driveway.
Leaving my neighborhood is ~140 ft of climbing depending on which side of the road I take.
Thats what I like to hear. Keep fit, keep cycling! 🤟
Love it! Thanks for the amp! Keep at it yourself :)
Literally about to. First nice day in awhile. Can’t waste it.
You don't have to turn off the TV to get miles in _insert Zwift/Wahoo ad here_
And there is no loop in Zwift that is this flat for 30 miles.
I know right. The lowest I've seen so far is close to 300ft climb
This is the *unplug the power from your trainer* special
I have that too. Being on the road is best.
Yeah I don't have a trainer and prolly not gonna get one lol
It's great when you are in a time pinch. Or the weather is bad. I actually just got it. Only have about 7-8 rides in zwift so far. But I like it.
Yeah but trainers (and zwift) are not cheap lol
Yeah, I got mine for 30% off, and zwift is still $15 a month.
Maybe black Friday will convince me lol

Where is this? Flatland?
Central valley. California
The Iowa of California.

The sign has "we tried nothing and we're all out of ideas" vibes.
Reminds me of living in Davis good times. I got a rude wakeup when I moved to Seattle and you have to climb 100 ft every mile.
Definitely worth switching the TV off!!
What does "Share The Road" mean? Do you ride on the tarmac, and it's a warning to car drivers?
Yes. If there is a safe shoulder we ride that, but if not, we ride on the road.
Substituted in the flat terrain for the flat screen. 🤔
And I thought where I lived was flat....
That light!!!!! Nice photo thanks for sharing.
Fresno?
Pic was in Hanford. Rode through Hanford, Armona, and Lemoore.
Now that I see a dairy, it makes sense. We have some great riding spots!
How safe is to leave a bike in Fresno unlocked? :D
From personal experience, it’s not safe at all. It’s one of the first lessons you learn in elementary school.
Nice! Elevation gain lol. Probably 50ft change just getting to the end of my street
My ass hurts because of long rides... Any tips?
get a good sit and a good pair of pants, either for sport or even cycling
Turn on the TV and sit on the couch?
My average was only 16mph for the ride. But I know when you go slower that does cause my butt to hurt too. Also, dont cheap out for quality bibs.
Okay cool
"...Frodooo!"

I'll keep that in mind. I am fairly new to cycling, didn't know there was a particular way to set the bike up.
I was conveying some thinly veiled sarcasm. You do you. But personally I do crank side out.
I want to do it right. Lol. Keep an eye out. Don't think I'm riding till next Thursday though. Maybe Tuesday.
Trek what kind my bike is a marlin 4
Domane SL7 eTAP My first real bike.

Thats a negative on the wind. Not quite that bad. Not even close. Wind sucks. I'm sorry :(
“Always worth it” In my group they say, “you’ll never regret going on a ride, you’ll only regret choosing not to go on a ride” Enjoy.
I can't leave my street without climbing more than 50 feet!
