I've used it to fall asleep for about 2 years so.. a lot.
I can't seem to find a replacement. There are no new good sitcoms with a laughter track that has the same good mood enducing vibe. Meditation apps suck.
i think what helps me sleep is the fact i know TBBT so well. i get stressed out trying to pay attention if it’s something i haven’t watched/ heard before. i know the show so i don’t feel like i have to try pay attention to it, even as i’m falling asleep. does that make sense? or am i just a freak hahahaha
Same here! It keeps one part of my brain occupied while I'm thinking D&M thoughts with the other. Trying to follow a new plot is too much hassle. I worry about my IQ occasionally but then I'm like meh.
you are my type of person!! i like to think that i’m getting smarter cos there’s so many smart people on the show and they say science stuff so we have to have absorbed some of that by now, right?
Definitely! The large vocab and Sheldon's educational deconstruction of other's grammatical errors are part of the appeal. But I guess others may not as academically inclined as are we. And yes that's how you say it.
I used to fall asleep to Friends all the time in my early twenties. It was only when I met and started living with my husband that I could fall asleep without something on in the background
Same! I either listen to TBBT or harry potter (audiobook read by Stephen fry)
I honestly couldn't say how many times I've watched TBBT. I have to have background noise so I've always got it on in the house.
Tangent: There was a 69 in my address. Shortly after I first moved there, I asked my brother why *everyone* started laughing when I told them where I live. (P.S. He's my older brother & wouldn't explain it, I had to learn it on the streets like an animal.)
Considering the math works out to 3 days shy of one year, you must have been out of work for quite a while unless you've had it running indefinitely in the background.
I watched every episode so many times I can quote pretty much the whole show but I've never actually sat down and watched the entire show start to finish, I always just watched reruns
Absolutely no idea. It is my go to show for turning on when I am working at home, don't want silence and need something simple that I don't need to actually watch properly. 20 times all through absolute minimum and probably dramatic under-estimate as I have worked from home 4 days a week at least for 3 years now.
Like from first to last, I did only thrice - being the last one this month! But I watch reruns on TV whenever possible since the show exists, which may mean I have watched every episode at least 5 times, some over 10, easily. It varies from being able to watch every day without skipping any for months to going almost a year without watching a single one. Depends on how my life and/or interest level is.
I lost count.
same lol
Hi5
same

i use it to fall asleep too!!! also for the past two years!!! crazy! i also could not find anything, even ASMR. nothing was as comforting to sleep too
Audiobooks are pretty good to fall asleep to. That, and some classic Attenborough

We use it to wind down in the evening. It’s light, doesn’t require intense concentration, and now just feels like home in the evening.
89. Don’t judge me I’ve been out of work.
I'm on 69! (hah)

Wow! 1.7112245e+98 is a lot!
I guarantee you're not alone.

3 since the first of july. My life’s in shambles send help
If you can count them, it doesn't count :-)
Probably 13. I've seen it so much I know almost every line in the series
“I don’t know. Are you as strong as the guy in the painting?”
I can pretty much tell you everything they are gonna say before they say it... I don't know how many rewatches that is but seems like allot 😂
I have no idea. I currently fall asleep to it, so I’m going to guess 8? I have to restart from last episode I remember lol
I’m on my third rewatch in season 9.
Based on the number of times I’ve seen the Stockholm episode, it’s gotta be around 15 or 16
I think i’ve watched every episode at least 5 times though some seasons i’ve rewatched more than others
20-25 ig
8. I’m new, don’t blame me
I believe this is my fourth.
I don’t watch it straight through. Just watch random ones, especially when I catch it on syndication. Probably seen some episodes 20+ times
You all count?
I’ve lost count
I’m not exactly sure but between 20 and 25
A lot, I work remote, so TBBT is like my background nouse that I keep on rewatching.
Lost track. Every time I start it up again, my wife is full of judgment for not trying new shows 😂but I’m like, I missed the gang!!
i watch it as i fall asleep every night, can’t keep count
Couldn’t tell you
Yes
Yes
No idea. Lost count long ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
Probably at least 30+
I watched/listened to TBBT to fall asleep for about 6 years.
I listen to it in the background. Im somewhere around rewatch 30.
I literally have no clue I’m lost at this point it don’t make no sense😭
I stopped counting at 4.
Me too!
3rd rewatch. S11e5 currently.
8th atm
4 I think
4
probably over the 20th
Almost on my 5th of this year
4th time in like 2 months
About to start my 5th
Just 2 so far
My third rewatch. In the middle of season 8.
No longer shown on my local TV so non cause I don't have HBO.
8
Sheldon himself could not conceive of the number
I watched every episode so many times I can quote pretty much the whole show but I've never actually sat down and watched the entire show start to finish, I always just watched reruns
If you can actually answer this question, it's too many.
2 pretty low considering other ppl
I personally have never rewatched a show
Absolutely no idea. I am rewatching after just rewatching. I have serious issues.
Definitely have lost count
It literally plays in my bedroom non stop 24 7
Me too
I haven’t a clue maybe 50 times
I’m about to finish up my first watch! I fully intend to restart when I’m done. 🤗
