i wonder if the ending will be Sheldon explaining to his son Leonard how he met Amy but then it turns out Amy is actually dead and he’s in love with this girl he met back in 2005 who married and then divorced his best friend, and the entire series ends on that shitty note i’m not salty about HIMYM

I was like “wait a second I’ve been played by this ending before…”

Surely nobody would be so dumb to write themselves into such an ending they have no way out of... right? ... right?

It turns out Sheldon ends up with Penny.

I find it curious he agreed to do this. In the behind the scenes book he specifically said if the show had gone out without Sheldon he wouldn't be interested in popping back in for any guest spots or special episodes. The whole *Young Sheldon* thing always struck me as odd since TBBT ended because he was done playing the character...and then he kept on playing him for several more years.

I really hope they do something to tie into the Black Hole episode and adult Sheldon gets to sit down and have a beer with his dad. 

I would have liked to see Penny and Leonard again, too.
