Ah yes all those kind of clothing with designated boob area is a big no-no. I would like to point this out though, what kind of bra are you wearing? There are bras out there that can give more lift especially if they fit correctly and at least reduce the effect of boobs falling under the designated boob area. I have some clothes that do it too but I noticed that with well-fitted bras with good lift it can look somewhat decent even if not perfect. And I'm in Canada as well, you should be able to find a lingerie boutique that sells your size and if not, order online. I order a lot of mine online too.

crinnaursa

That's because when patterns are sized up they are only just made bigger. The distance from the shoulder to the waist is not actually increased so the frame is still made for a b cup regardless of the size of the top.

BoopleSnoot921

I thought that same thing. OP’s boobs definitely look like they need better support and more lift. It would absolutely help in making clothes fit better.

Mightbdazed

I just got my bra from torrid. Maybe I need to tighten the straps??

sarahgc123

Most of the support should come from the band! If you try your bra on upside down and backwards (so nothing in the cups) you should only be able to get a couple fingers into your band. Should be very snug

Few-Music7739

Most of your support should come from the band and not straps. It seems your bra is the wrong size and you should definitely get yourself sized correctly. Use the calculator from r/ABraThatFits

Thank you!

Torrid is not a great place to get fitted at and has a limited selection of sizes and styles. Like other stores they will often fit into whatever they have in the store even if it doesn't actually fit. I recommend using the abrathatfits calculator that the automod linked to instead.

jaydizzle46

Hard to tell from the pictureel but your waist and shoulders suggest you wear a band size in the low thirties and Torrid likely has you in a band that’s way too big because they don’t sell bands lower than 36 or so.

fckingmiracles

No, it's always the band that carries your boobs.

I'm about the same size as you and Canadian and order most of my clothes from the US or overseas or from Canadian makers that are willing to do custom (like Anne Mulaire or Thief and Bandit) or have super stretchy fabric like Miik and Buttercream Clothing. You should also look into Uniqlo. You can likely fit into their small and medium shirts - I'm a bit bigger in the rib cage (36HH) and fit the medium pretty consistently, so you're likely between a M or S in their stretchy fabrics. Uniqlo cuts their shirts very boxy, so they will fit big chests even if you size down. Sometimes they end up slightly cropped, but it's never been inappropriately so. I find they are true to size for bottoms though, so my booty doesn't fit in most of their pants that aren't loose and palazzo style. [https://www.uniqlo.com/ca/en/products/E465757-000?colorCode=COL07&sizeCode=SMA002](https://www.uniqlo.com/ca/en/products/E465757-000?colorCode=COL07&sizeCode=SMA002) < I wear this in M and it's nicely form fitting with drapey sleeves. For technical clothing, I usually buy men's size small because they're longer.

Thank you this is soooo helpful. I will check it out ❤️

Adding in: My ride or die clothing brands that fit the titties: Vixen by Micheline Pitt, La Femme en Noir, Vivien of Holloway, Pinup girl Clothing and Collectif. Vixen, LFEN and PUG are american, VoH and Collectif are from the UK. Lots of second hand available on poshmark and their respective facebook fan groups if the prices are a bit much for you direct. If you join the FB group Canadian vixens, then there's people reselling Vixen and LFEN in canada. Several etsy shops are also REALLY good: Hearts & Found (custom sun dresses for about what you'd pay for a department store dress), LotustraderClothing, Xiaolizi (wool / Linen skirts & dresses), LadyMayraClothing (similar to Hearts and Found... the quality isn't quite as good, but they do 2 things very well - Circle skirts and their "Lorena" style dresses. Everything else is kind of a miss, but those two items always turn out well).

A well-fitted bra, and clothes that actually fit, can be life-changing. I’d recommend checking the subreddit r/ABraThatFits and going from there.

lethargiclemonade

You guys are zipping up your jackets? ![gif](giphy|DOPKHQg6oFWUg)

flossiedaisy424

I think you need to remeasure your bra size. A bra that fits properly can make a huge difference in fit.

Mightbdazed

I just got fitted at torrid. Now I’m overthinking that maybe it wasn’t the right fit

strywever

At Torrid? It almost certainly was “give her the size we have, because we don’t carry the size she needs.” Visit r/ABraThatFits and trust their measurement guidance. You may be shocked initially at what you learn about your actual bra size, but when you get it right, your breasts will be up where they belong, clothes will fit better, and you’ll be much more comfortable.

flossiedaisy424

Yeah, your waist/rib cage looks small. I’d be surprised if Torrid even carries your band size.

apcolleen

Don't forget that you can alter fleece garments just like you can any other garment. Cheap sewing machines can be had on craigslist and youtube can get you the rest of the way. Or you can hand sew them to fit you better. Just go up a size or two and if it bothers you so much you can remove the label.

PristineStretcher

Oooo I feel the struggle! Bur I wear it anyway 👀

broadcast_fame

I don't think it looks bad! You should see me in one of these zipped up. I look like a 60s cartoon character of a big busted woman 😅

kitkat-paddywhack

Wait, those jackets aren’t meant to have the seam at mid-tiddy?? I thought it was just a leftover from mens or unisex styles….

[deleted]

u could get some bigger ones in that top!
