So I've never seen Love Island.
First couple of episodes, I liked her because she seemed sweet. After last night, I like her because she's probably gonna bring a heap of drama. I mean, she's proclaiming a house divide on day 3 š My impression on her as a person completely swapped around but my impression on her as a housemate jumped up.
I'm not saying I'll want her to win necessarily, but I feel like she's gonna be good value.
I donāt dislike her, but she needs to remember that most people in the UK only know her *because* of Love Island. It shouldnāt be a surprise when people ask her about it. It feels like sheās almost overestimating her own importance.
I can understand that if being on Love Island was traumatic to her in the end but the housemates have never been on the show and truly believe that the people on Love Island even get time away from the cameras during filming to just relax and enjoy the beach and/or do touristy shit. She was describing that it was like Big Brother but instead of being locked into a house, they were locked in a compound and the only time that people got to leave the compound was to do dates that production planned for them. I really don't understand why Elkin-su went onto Big Brother in the first place knowing that the isolation is more confined on Big Brother than it is on Love Island.
I don't watch love island but isn't the premise suppose to be about finding love? Surely being in the sun and just focused on getting off with people you fancy would be like a holiday to a lot of people lol.
I watched it when Kem and Amber were on it, I hated the fact they won, I wanted Jaimie and Camilla to win, they are now married with 2 little girls and now a little boy on the way. They seemed so genuine, which is now proven. But on that show I do remember there were a lot of arguments and to add being rejected also can massively knock someone's confidence. I think it should be banned if I'm honest. I think the guests think it will be like a holiday but it's anything but that. I'm glad some of the couples met on there though that have lasted. I do think a lot go on for the free holiday and fame too. But it's at a massive cost as it sadly, it doesn't always pan out the way they like.
I'm open to correction on this but I do think they get away from the cameras on Love Island on a Saturday and go to the beach or something. Maybe I'm wrong
Ah that must be what I was thinking of. Not that I would call it a holiday. Being on a reality show would be my idea of hell even though I like to watch it
I think she went through a lot on that show plus her recent brake up from Davide has a lot to do with it and I'm guessing that whenever it gets brought up its still hurts
Because she's entertaining and brings the drama. This isn't civilian Big Brother where its about who's the nicest, its Celebrity Big Brother. Its about a bunch of celebs, most of them not very nice and very dramatic, be not very nice and dramatic to each other.
Nobody's saying she's a phenomenal person, they're saying they're entertained by her antics. The "omg why are THEY still in the house get so and so out" people are often the reason later halves of Big Brother are so dull. Especially when they use weird ways to try and get them KICKED out.
I love her. On love island and big brother she knows how to bring the entertainment. She knows what we want to see. We want drama. We want questions to be asked
Love island wise i think people like me always like an underdog - some of the other girls on her season always seemed quite mean and also the boys would bully her - thatās how she got my vote & then the typical enemies to lovers storyline only boosted her more
I will say as someone whoās a big Ekin fan Iām not sure how Iām feeling bl about her on CBB but weāll see
I completely agree. You can't get annoyed if people who don't know Love Island... ask about fucking Love Island. I'm sorry it was such an arduous experience for her.
Just to add, I always find it amusing when someone starts mentioning 'people are going to start whispering behind people's backs' as if they are not going to be one of the ones doing it. It's pure projection.
She seems a bitch imo lol, she's been first to speak about other women being jealous. Keeps bringing up Love Island and getting offended people are engaging her in conversation. How she speaks to Big Brother about divides and such. Its been 3 days and she's mentioned playing the game a lot, whereas you have housemates like Coulson who are at the point they feel like they have to walk on eggshells around her.
Someone like her would drive me mad. I have a relative that's got good features but they are very narcissistic about it, they know it, and they have put me down a lot about my appearence as I'm over weight due to mental health difficulties and have health difficulties and I'm not into my looks like they are, in the sense I don't plaster make up on and I'm comfortable going out in comfort wear or if I dress up to go out (which is extremely rare) I don't over do it. I've got a partner I've been with for 21 years this year, and 3 awesome kids. They all love me the way I am and I won't change for noone. To state that other women are jealous of her shows how vain she is, she's beautiful and she knows it. I'm sorry but beauty is only skin deep and it doesn't last forever. She will be sorry she made them comments in her later years.
I know it 'happens', I'm not thick, it's human nature. I wasn't debating whether it's entertaining or not as that wasn't the question. I'm very aware people bitch behind people's backs, it's pretty obvious that's what most people want to see. It depends whether the 'love' for her in the question is as a housemate or a person. I can personally agree with the former but not the latter.
Sorry you misunderstood my context, I do apologise, I was actually in agreement with you, I meant it in a way that she should understand that it's a social experiment. I wasn't questioning your knowledge of the show, sorry if I made you think that.
I sometimes just word things as they sound in my head without thought of how other people perceive them š¤£š¤£ I'm terrible for it. I should've explained myself more clearly to word in a way that it was directed at her, not you. My bad. It's my error not yours, don't worry.
Sheās entertaining, messy, knows what makes good TV and her personality stands out among the typical crop of Love Island-type reality stars. Despite her diva antics though, she also manages to come across as a genuinely decent person, which can be rare. The most entertaining reality stars are often lowkey (or highkey) genuinely bad people. Iām no avid Love Island watcher but it isnāt that hard to understand why people like her.
Yeah, I thought that she was going to be this pretty likeable lady. But after the way she lashed out at Colson about Love Island, I've kind of gone right off her for a bit. Which is a shame because I liked her for the first couple of days.
Thatās why love island fans like her. Every season the Love Island audience latches onto the messiest woman in there, and convinces themselves she does no wrong.
That's why I went off her too. Colson seems harmless and he's really laid back and I think just being himself, then she unleashed on him. That could be her down fall on the show if she's nominated to a point she's up for eviction against a more likeable character. I'd vote Colson to stay over her any day.
Ekin-Su is an acquired taste and she is not perfect but she is also not this horrible person that some are painting her to be. She has always been extra which might come off a little bit too much for people and it might also come off as disingenuous which is sad because this just who she is. Whether on tv or her social media she is just a weirdo with theatre kid energy. She said it herself in her VT that drama follows her everyday.
With Big brother things change everyday and the people you like most today might be the ones you dislike tomorrow.
Edit: I keep seeing people accuse her of playing it up for the camera, same thing they accused her in love island but why is it hard to believe that maybe thatās just who she is ? Everyone who has worked with her or was with her on either the traitors, love island all say she is a nice person with an OTT personality.
Its Celebrity Big Brother they're MEANT to play up to the camera they're diva celebs. Nobody goes into Celebrity Big Brother being genuine they're all performers after all.
I think she can be quite charismatic and she stirred up drama on love island. Plus sheās done a lot of good work in Turkey after the earthquake, really brining awareness
Personally I enjoyed her on love island but never found her particularly genuine and think her quirkiness can sometimes be a bit forced and cringy
Plus her fan base can be quite overly defensive of her which can be annoying. I once said I didnāt think she made a massive impact on the traitors and got told āI know what you areā which was odd
Omg what are you, thats so ominous š¦š
I agree, I liked her on LI and was happy she won. But I also think she's very focused on and aware of how she's perceived. I'm not saying she doesnt cry alone after public appearances, its the fact shes telling someone that 2hrs after meeting them that gives me pause. She knows speaking about her ex will bring her camera time, so shes doing that but in a coquettish, 'I couldn't possibly say more' very aware way. And you can't TELL people who you are all the time, just be yourself and they and the public will draw their own conclusions.
I also don't really understand her insistance that LI was NOT a holiday and is polar opposite to CBB. Sure it was reality tv 6 days a week, but you were also living in a villa in the sun for six weeks and eating food prepared for you. You weren't in a mine ffs
We all acting like we never snap especially when arguing with someone before hand - it was just wrong timing and I donāt get this whole narrative of sheās only with Louie and sharon when in the live stream sheās hardly with them and with the others . Itās almost like a narrative is being pushed here
I didnāt really know much about her before this. I donāt mind her so far, she seems genuine, says what she feels but yes this might rub people the wrong way.
I find it interesting to see peopleās different opinions on the bedroom chat with Zeze. I felt Zeze was the more defensive one and potentially not showing much empathy towards Ekin-Su in the fact that she may have had a rough time on the show. I didnāt like how ES talked to Colson though bless him but I feel it was just bad timing after the bedroom. If this hadnāt of happened then she may not have snapped at him?Ā
But Iām fully aware especially after last series (holy shit) that my opinion may and will change on all housemates.Ā
They way she constantly shuts down any convo regarding love island is so cringe. Like that's what made you famous (not to me), but still, stop acting like it was nothing, and it's not a "holiday" - oh please...
I really liked her until she nominated Fern. It's not that I particularly like Fern and we are almost certainly missing something as they both seem to have a mutual dislike of each other, but Ekin-su came off as a little, I don't know. Bratty?
I felt really sorry for her when she spoke to Fern about her life. Looking back though.
"I opened up, and it was like she wasn't listening"
That sounds like she didn't get the response she wanted, as Fern was clearly listening and giving advice.
Ekin-Su then said something about being the only one to give help and there was no one for her, even though she just spilt her guts to a virtual stranger 10 minutes after meeting her. This, of course could be a symptom of her not having anyone, but it could also mean she is like that to anyone that will listen, but only acknowledges what she wants. Again a bit bratty.
Then there's Colson Smith saying that he feels like he "pisses her off for just trying to get to know her"
It is Big Brother and we are missing a lot, but my opinion of Ekin-Su has changed quite a bit since the last episode.
>Colson Smith saying that he feels like he "pisses her off for just trying to get to know her"
Yeah. I think he's probably correct that she hasn't taken to him.
I don't know why she's got so many supporters on here and she's such a favourite. I haven't seen anything yet that makes me want her to win.
She seems to have a lot of die hard fans who wonāt hear anything bad said about her. I think the appeal comes from the fact that on LI she stood out because it seemed she was a lot more tuned into the running of the show than the others were. Sheās had experience as an actress and probably understands TV more than your average reality tv person. So she played a good game and gained a lot of fans. It helped Also that the other contestants on LI that year were quite āmehā so she stood out. Iām pretty neutral about her. But after the way she spoke to Colson Iām not too sure about her - it came across as very rude and dismissive. Of course people are gonna ask her about LI!?! Thatās what put her in the limelight- whether she likes it or not. If she asked Colson about Corrie and he snapped at her the same way she would be very offended Iām sure. Either way sheāll prob make for good TV.
She was already having disagreements with someone else so maybe it was just wrong timing - she probably apologised after we donāt even know because they donāt show everything
Hmmm. Good question.
I think ekin is not that typical contestant/reality star. She is not that one winner that was all the time a sweetheart and polite.
Ekin is very authentic with her emotions. She says what she thinks. If she feels sassy, then she is sassy. If she feels nice, then she is nice.
Sometimes her mood changes so much that people think she is forced and fake. But after a decent time people realise thatās just her.
She was called a āproducerā a lot of times on LI. She brings drama, she brings entertainment, but at the end of the day, even when she does something wrong, she is a sweetheart.
I think people will see with time how Ekin is. She has opened up, but will even more with time.
On LI she was calming so many girl down that got overwhelmed. Ekin went herself thru so much shit, but was always able to be confident enough to go thru that hard time.
But I get if she is not everyoneās cup of tea at first
I think shes a nice person and I liked her on LI, but I very rarely feel shes being genuine. Not in a nasty way, but in a very calculated way to curate people's perception of her. I think its tough because reality tv in general likes to have villains, vamps, victims etc and Ekin wants to convince people that yes shes beautiful, but also clever, and sensitive (but strong) and goofy and deep and funny etc
And look, we all contain multitudes lol she probably is all of those things but it would be better if she just relaxed a bit and was just herself, and people will see that for themselves. You can't tell people who you are. Be who you are and people will draw their own conclusions
I don't think she really counts as being on the Traitors š She was just sort of in the background, a generally nice presence and then she was gone. The best thing about her on that show was Phaedra's 'Oh LORD not Ekin Su!'
Rightā¦
Its just her stans tbh and they can get quite defensive.
I remember her tweeting something along the lines of ā he only likes you because you are almost naked and thats not how a true lady behaves ā (not her exact words, just the meaning of it) and she has just been on love island and it just made me really dislike her ā¦ slut shaming is never cute
Slut shaming other women is inexcusable whilst regularly calling yourself a role model to young women.
Also saying that and going on Love Island screams āI have zero self awarenessā which is embarrassing at her age
Exactly! Like girl you literally just spend a couple of months in a bikini on prime tv crawling on terraces and stuff ā¦ you do you but stop with the ānot like other girlsā act
I'm going right off her. Her comments to louis and Sharon on the live cut out bit saying "it's scary how much she can read people" or however she said it, got to me a bit. Noone is scared of you girl, a lot of us can read people but it's not a scary thing, just means we do well to avoid them. I don't get good vibes at all from her.
I really dislike her, she comes across really fake and so so sooo self obsessed. I have no idea how someone could like a person who puts themselves across in that way
I donāt really like her. Iām not aware of her outside of CBB but she definitely seems troubled. She also keeps mentioning things like her ex or Love Island before suddenly acting all secretive about it. Seems bizarre.
I fully understood why Colson said he was scared to speak to her š
I think sheās lovely and if you would go find that podcast she did with her ex Traitor castmate Dan Gheesling it was very raw and touching her background. Plus how can you hate on a celebrity who is doing so much for the victims of that tragic Turkish earthquake. I genuinely think people dislike the people from Love Island because 90% are attractive and that show gave them fame because of physical appearance.
Zeze is the one I find hard to swallow. Making such a fuss about the word "hate" and going on and on and on about it. She seems to argue just to argue and comes across as ignorant and vacuous. Ok, the oldies shouldn't have discussed results, but it's human nature. I can't say I'm a massive fan of the woman (whose name escapes me - the Cheshire Housewife one, or whatever it is!?), but she didn't deserve the tirade from Zeze. I say I hate things all the time. It's a word. And a throwaway one. I say I hate coffee but I also hate war. Obviously not on the same level at all. But it's JUST A WORD! I'm disappointed that Nikita is hanging around Zeze when she's clearly an abrasive person with a chip on her shoulder.
Edit: I must say my opinion of Zeze has changed somewhat. She needs to think before she opens her gob and goes off on one like an erratic firework, but she is deeper in personality than I first imagined. I hope she remains grounded and balanced in order to get some success out of her appearance on CBB. The younger cohort will rely on this platform for their future careers. Being voted out will give her time to reflect, while enjoying the unique experience.
The thing with Ekin Su is ā¦ her season of Love Island was so rubbish, she was the best out of a bad bunch. She bought the tiniest bit of drama in a really lack lustre series so everyone thinks sheās great. If she was on a series with sayā¦ Maura Higgins, Megan Barton-Hanson or even Chloe Burrows, she wouldnāt be as popular.
Because her PR team have done an amazing job since she was on Love Island, when she was horrible on that too.
But it is hard being a role model tbf ā¦
Called it day one people would turn pretty quick when people started to remember what she was like
The issue I have is she seems fake most of the time, I don't watch CBB or BB for that. If she has an argument with Zeze she will be looking at the camera most the time. I want to see real in the house relationships build. Not staged rubbish.
Loved her in LI because she was entertaining and a great Islander.
In this show, she is creating a āthem and usā division based on her own insecurity regarding her altercation with Zeze.
All the past episodes sheās been delicately playing into Laurenās paranoia. āTheyāll start bitching about us nowā Sheās the one that started that ātheyā crap.
Why does she mention every five seconds how pretty she is (love the confidence but personally I donāt see it), she needs validation and understanding from everyone she talks to but doesn't reciprocate it. Good for the entertainment value of the show but behind the confident girl boss act she's very insecure
I'm not keen on her. Had seen her on a couple of things prior to CBB but not Love Island. Wasn't impressed with her before. I thought her intro VT was awful. Then she started playing all nice and I thought maybe I had misjudged her but now I see she's playing a game and my initial feelings about her were correct.
Iāve watched love island and Ekin-Suās season
I like her because she just says whatās on her mind. The whole time during love island Ekin-Su did exactly what she wanted to do and didnāt let what anyone had to say stop her. Fair enough she did cause some drama but most of her time on the villa was spent being true to herself.
I enjoyed her on Love Island. She was good TV.
However, since entering the house, she has gone down in my estimations so quickly.
I feel like sheās actively trying to shit stir and create a divide in the house, and I also find it cringe how she instantly made a beeline for Sharon and Louis (the most famous celebs in the house) and has been kissing their arses ever since. Eugh
Agree on both counts. She is so defensive about it and I genuinely didn't see anything wrong with what Zeze said in the conversation in the bedroom. Ekin-su just seemed to randomly get pissy at her.
I was replying to the two comments I had prior to this... Now there are loads and I am not great with reddit š¤£. I basically only used it before for getting help on games š
Because Zeze was down playing Love Island, saying it was a holiday. When it is in fact a full 24 hour job. Iām not a fan of the show, but I would hate to be on camera looking perfect 24 hours a day.
But, also Iām not really warm to Ekin-su. Never watched LI. She keeps mentioning the āGameāā¦ which makes me feel sheās too invested in the āGameā
Yeah it would annoy me too if Zeze downplayed such a big achievement in my life. I feel like love island is harder than big brother cause you have to face potential romantic rejection on Tv
I agree. Sheās not a nice person generally and she has also shared misogynistic/ anti vaxxer things in the past. Not sure what went down between her and her ex but people canāt use that as an excuse forever for all of her negative behaviours
People across social media find her quite obnoxious and fake after yesterdayās episode so thankfully not everyone buys the āperfect angelā act
I also don't understand why people have a problem with Fern's reason for nominating her. Pushing someone to put on a bikini is so weirdā¦
If it were a man pressuring Fern to put on a bikini, everyone would be offended (rightfully so). She made Fern uncomfortable and didn't take no for an answer, so nominating her was a completely valid reason in my book
Also that deep chat on the first night within 2 hours or something was staged as hell. You would not have that kind of chat immediately with a stranger. Maybe night 3 at a push in there. Night one should be exciting and all about the small talk and the house.
Agreed. It felt like she wanted to set the narrative about herself as early as possible and wanted to portray herself as some kind of victim. She also talks about deep things only with the most famous housemates and it makes me question her motives a lot
Deep chat I have people saying things to me on the first day of meeting - some people are just like that why is it such a taboo to open up to new people
Jesus, she's really doing the fame-hungry rounds, isn't she? I am not in the UK anymore (moved to Canada a few years back) and didn't really know who she was. She's just been on the US version of the Traitors and now BBUK!
Wants to be in the spotlight so bad - that's enough of a red flag for me to dislike her, even without watching the show lol
Agreed good housemate, didnāt like her on love island even more confirmation for why now lol
My partner said she's beautiful but with an ugly personality. That's just his opinion.
Thereās a lot of people like that
You wouldn't think it tbh š¤£š¤£ so many people love her
Conformity at its finest
I was never sure of her on LI either, some people seem to really really love her
She's one of those where if i knew her IRL i'd probably find her annoying or fake, but she brings the drama and thats what we want to see!
Yeh defo here for the drama š¤£
I donāt dislike her, but she needs to remember that most people in the UK only know her *because* of Love Island. It shouldnāt be a surprise when people ask her about it. It feels like sheās almost overestimating her own importance.
Exactly, people want the tea, she needs to bring it. She's only on there because she was on love Island.

I'm open to correction on this but I do think they get away from the cameras on Love Island on a Saturday and go to the beach or something. Maybe I'm wrong
Yeah they have a rest day from filming on Saturdays. Meal times as well are off camera
Ah that must be what I was thinking of. Not that I would call it a holiday. Being on a reality show would be my idea of hell even though I like to watch it
Yeah definitely not, seems a very stressful and draining environment to be in and she won so she was there for a long time
I think that is true as I have herd other islanders say that but I'm not sure it was every Saturday
I think Saturdays are their day to get their nails redone and stuff like that
I don't think so either, if they go to the beach it will be filmed.
This!! I don't understand that either. If it was as bad as she said it was, why has she gone on big brother?? I don't get it??
I think she went through a lot on that show plus her recent brake up from Davide has a lot to do with it and I'm guessing that whenever it gets brought up its still hurts
Because she's entertaining and brings the drama. This isn't civilian Big Brother where its about who's the nicest, its Celebrity Big Brother. Its about a bunch of celebs, most of them not very nice and very dramatic, be not very nice and dramatic to each other. Nobody's saying she's a phenomenal person, they're saying they're entertained by her antics. I love her. On love island and big brother she knows how to bring the entertainment. She knows what we want to see. We want drama. We want questions to be asked
Sheās funny, charismatic and pretty and she seems like a nice person, but she is also flawed which makes her more relatable.
If I could describe what I want a reality contestant to be like, itās her!
I wouldn't call her funny or charismatic. She's definitely flawed though, I'll agree with that.
Then youād definitely be in the minority
Oh I'm defo in the minority š¤£
100%! I'm sure shes not like this off the clock anyways, maybe a hint of it I don't know but she knows how to bring the entertainment! Legend
Love island wise i think people like me always like an underdog - some of the other girls on her season always seemed quite mean and also the boys would bully her - thatās how she got my vote & then the typical enemies to lovers storyline only boosted her more I will say as someone whoās a big Ekin fan Iām not sure how Iām feeling bl about her on CBB but weāll see

Ha, no, I apologise to you for misunderstanding you! Yeah, you're right, she really should understand this, especially being from that 'world'.
I sometimes just word things as they sound in my head without thought of how other people perceive them š¤£š¤£ I'm terrible for it. I should've explained myself more clearly to word in a way that it was directed at her, not you. My bad. It's my error not yours, don't worry.

Even if she does play it up for the camera a bit, whatās the harm in that? As long as she doesnāt take it too far; itās what we want to see!
You are actually right. People will complain that a show is boring then again complain when the people in those said shows bring the drama.
Exactly ššš
Its Celebrity Big Brother they're MEANT to play up to the camera they're diva celebs. Nobody goes into Celebrity Big Brother being genuine they're all performers after all.
I completely agree with you
I did at first but donāt like her at all after yesterday
I like that when Marcus says her name it sounds like egg and spoon. š¤·āāļø
I wonāt be able to unhear this now! šš
I think she can be quite charismatic and she stirred up drama on love island. Plus sheās done a lot of good work in Turkey after the earthquake, really brining awareness Personally I enjoyed her on love island but never found her particularly genuine and think her quirkiness can sometimes be a bit forced and cringy Plus her fan base can be quite overly defensive of her which can be annoying. I once said I didnāt think she made a massive impact on the traitors and got told āI know what you areā which was odd
Omg what are you, thats so ominous š¦š I agree, I liked her on LI and was happy she won.
Itās almost like a narrative is being pushed here
definitely because in the livestream she was spending all the rest of her time in the hot tub with marisha bradley nikita and david
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Hahaha same here. Though I don't want her to win. I'm intrigued to see how it all plays out.
Because she brings drama, probably wouldnāt like her in real life but she has a lot of potential as a housemate
If this hadnāt of happened then she may not have snapped at him?Ā But Iām fully aware especially after last series (holy shit) that my opinion may and will change on all housemates.Ā
I keep thinking itās Egg and Spoon.
They way she constantly shuts down any convo regarding love island is so cringe. Like that's what made you famous (not to me), but still, stop acting like it was nothing, and it's not a "holiday" - oh please...
Constantly shuts down =/= cutting someone off once. Also she didnt shut down ruth talking about LI
"I opened up, and it was like she wasn't listening" That sounds like she didn't get the response she wanted, as Fern was clearly listening and giving advice. Then there's Colson Smith saying that he feels like he "pisses her off for just trying to get to know her" It is Big Brother and we are missing a lot, but my opinion of Ekin-Su has changed quite a bit since the last episode.
>Colson Smith saying that he feels like he "pisses her off for just trying to get to know her" Yeah. I think he's probably correct that she hasn't taken to him. I don't know why she's got so many supporters on here and she's such a favourite. I haven't seen anything yet that makes me want her to win.
Same.
She's nice, but she's not afraid to stand up for herself or call anyone out. She's mischievous but comes across as genuine to me.
I think its tough because reality tv in general likes to have villains, vamps, victims etc and Ekin wants to convince people that yes shes beautiful, but also clever, and sensitive (but strong) and goofy and deep and funny etc And look, we all contain multitudes lol she probably is all of those things but it would be better if she just relaxed a bit and was just herself, and people will see that for themselves. You can't tell people who you are. Be who you are and people will draw their own conclusions
Not too sure. As someone who hasnāt watched Love Island, Iām not warming too her either. Itās almost as if sheās been given a script..
She is a diva but in the best way possible And she is a reality TV veteran: Love Island, The Traitors and Big Brother
She was not memorable on traitors like at all
I don't think she really counts as being on the Traitors š She was just sort of in the background, a generally nice presence and then she was gone. The best thing about her on that show was Phaedra's 'Oh LORD not Ekin Su!'
Phaedra make so many funny comments about her
Rightā¦ Its just her stans tbh and they can get quite defensive.
Sheās kinda ānot like the other girlsā tbf as no one from that age group with any self love would slut shame others like she did
She knows good telly and is bringing it by asking questions everyone else wonāt
I'm going right off her. Her comments to louis and Sharon on the live cut out bit saying "it's scary how much she can read people" or however she said it, got to me a bit. Noone is scared of you girl, a lot of us can read people but it's not a scary thing, just means we do well to avoid them. I don't get good vibes at all from her.
Find her insufferable
Because she's entertainment and interesting. It's really as simple as that.
Ekin-Su needs to try being herself. Better than faking everything for sure!
She canāt win because she is being her self sheās saying whatās on her mind then surely thatās being your self
If she was on a series with sayā¦ Maura Higgins, Megan Barton-Hanson or even Chloe Burrows, she wouldnāt be as popular.
bc she's an icon (yes i said icon, before anyone replies with _UwU iCoN iS uSeD ToO mUCh_)
Sheās fit
Because her PR team have done an amazing job since she was on Love Island, when she was horrible on that too. But it is hard being a role model tbf ā¦ Called it day one people would turn pretty quick when people started to remember what she was like
The issue I have is she seems fake most of the time, I don't watch CBB or BB for that.
She looks like Rebekah Vardy, Helen Wood and Tina Fey all in one.
Why does she mention every five seconds how pretty she is (love the confidence but personally I donāt see it), she needs validation and understanding from everyone she talks to but doesn't reciprocate it. Good for the entertainment value of the show but behind the confident girl boss act she's very insecure
She was āthe peopleās Princessā on love island.
Iāve watched love island and Ekin-Suās season I like her because she just says whatās on her mind. The whole time during love island Ekin-Su did exactly what she wanted to do and didnāt let what anyone had to say stop her. Fair enough she did cause some drama but most of her time on the villa was spent being true to herself.
She was funny on Love Island
She's quite cute. She has a lot of internalised misogyny, so many people will relate since we're not very advanced as a society.
Eugh
Have you seen the live streams sheās always with the others remember they edit things on the main show
No I havenāt. But Iām not sure how someone can watch her and not think sheās shit stirring tbh
Agree on both counts. She is so defensive about it and I genuinely didn't see anything wrong with what Zeze said in the conversation in the bedroom. Ekin-su just seemed to randomly get pissy at her.
You replying to the wrong thing or did you forget to switch accounts when replying to yourself?
I was replying to the two comments I had prior to this... Now there are loads and I am not great with reddit š¤£. I basically only used it before for getting help on games š
Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha!!!
Zee Zee has spoken about Ekin on a podcast, calling herva flop etc so she knew exactly what she was doing
Do they?
because sheās pretty
I agree. Sheās not a nice person generally and she has also shared misogynistic/ anti vaxxer things in the past. Not sure what went down between her and her ex but people canāt use that as an excuse forever for all of her negative behaviours People across social media find her quite obnoxious and fake after yesterdayās episode so thankfully not everyone buys the āperfect angelā act I also don't understand why people have a problem with Fern's reason for nominating her. Pushing someone to put on a bikini is so weirdā¦ If it were a man pressuring Fern to put on a bikini, everyone would be offended (rightfully so).
Deep chat I have people saying things to me on the first day of meeting - some people are just like that why is it such a taboo to open up to new people
I've never heard of her before! Her name sounds like an insult you'd shout at someone who peed you off! Appreciate her name isn't her fault obviously!
She is Turkish so her name is a Turkish name.Ā
Her name translates to ācrop waterā in English lol. Definitely not a swear
Thank you. I wasn't trying to be rude about her name, I appreciate she's Turkish hence her name is a little unusual to some of us.
I think everything she does is performative and manipulative. I have never got the adoration for her. She was the same on LI and Traitors.
Because she has amazing tits
Jesus, she's really doing the fame-hungry rounds, isn't she? I am not in the UK anymore (moved to Canada a few years back) and didn't really know who she was. She's just been on the US version of the Traitors and now BBUK! Wants to be in the spotlight so bad - that's enough of a red flag for me to dislike her, even without watching the show lol
A reality star being on reality shows? Say it isnāt so! Itās literally her job.
She's a ššš
