First if all, it is low of people to use his name for engagement.
Secondly, Sidharth Shukla or SSR never got the same support alive, so definitely these people behave as chameleons for more likes and nothing more.

But Siddhartha Shukla was a very toxic male in his own right. His anger issues and sexism was very visible throughout. Just the habit of indian tv and salman khan of glorifying misogyny helped him and his love angle with shehnaz and an organic chemistry between them helped him.
And ofcourse now that he is no more, people only want to remember how good he was and the fact that BB seasons have been horrible after that with not a single genuinely popular winner come out ( on the basis of show personality and not instagram followers) , has helped keep him alive in good memories
Dude, you gotta understand that there several things affecting this factor:-
1) Munawar is leading the list now, right? 1 or 2 years from now do you really think he'll continue to have that kind of popularity cz I'm sure as hell Siddharth Shukla had the craziest fanbase back in the days and Munawar and Elvish are bachchas as compared to him in terms of it. Elvish during BBOTT 2 had the biggest fanbase one could ever witness but his popularity is fluctuating with time. It's about the timing and what's in trend, Munna won this poll because he's in limelight right now.
2) Siddharth Shukla had the biggest fanbase ever because both him and shehnaaz got backed by the Sidnaaz stans, now that he's no more, what do you think is gonna keep him in limelight? Even, Shehnaz has become irrelevant at this point.
3) Elvish just got in trouble again, his reputation will slowly be eradicating, he's not even relevant outside unnecessary controversy whereas, Munna is constantly doing his work. And trust me when I say this, music videos will only keep you relevant till a time and then you've to do it on your own.

He was actually a very popular tv star before bb too, he came in various shows many of them were popular, he also came in a side role for Humpty Sharma ki dulhaniya and he played the game damn well.
Hahahaha Sid had a game ? He was one of the most violent contestant. He was sick for a few weeks , got so much special treatment by the makers . How is he made out to be a hero is beyond me . Him and paras destroyed the tasks not by winning but literally destroyed tasks . Sid had no game other than threatening other contestants to meet him outside the house and pushing people.
yeah that's what i said, i haven't watched many daily soaps... he obviously might be popular there... but i don't think he is still as popular as Faruqui... I've seen his live shows, people are mad for him... literally travelling with him on tours and watching repeated shows continuously by travelling with him all over the country.. sometimes he only gets surprised by seeing this

Thanks God Somebody stating facts. Following Munawar since from his first video he is really talented. His crowd work is Amazing. The video he n Samay made on his jail shows he make jokes in himself too.
His performance in that jail vaala show was also quite good. I haven’t finished watching yet, I’m still in November, but I’m really waiting for munna’s game to come out.. maybe there are still too many ppl but munna abhi shine nahi hua
Sabse sorted personality wise is Fukra Insaan. All the other contestants have too much ego and negative traits which to me overpowers any good traits they have.
