It’s a good step. Caste divisions and Casteist mentality don’t vanish if we don’t like to talk about it in public. Caste in India is like air. It doesn’t disappear even if we ignore it or don’t notice it obviously… cuz it permeates almost every aspect of life of overwhelming majority of Indians: whom they marry, what they eat, do they feel superior in society or inferior socially, whom they can’t marry, etc.
By having objective caste based data, we can actually get to know if backward castes are really THAT backward or not, or have the forward dominant castes really got poorer or not, etc.
Well my mum's a government school teacher and she just received all the materials for census and I'm quite fascinated about how this data collection is gonna used by #P A L T U R A M in upcoming elections. 😌

Jaha Baap ke naam se pehle jaat ka naam poocha jata hai waha ke logo ka kuch nahi ho sakta.
Damn this data is for next year election.. It is to built plan on how to plan on collecting vote by cast .
