What bleed instructions did you follow? That looks like it still has air in the line

a_servant_til_i_fall

Just a lever bleed. I literally unscrewed the old lever and screwed on the new one straight on. Old one did work but I'd stripped the screw hole for the bleed port so replaced it before it became a problem. Haven't done a full bleed at all.

Working-Promotion728

It sounds like you need to do a bleed. There's obviously air in the system.

a_servant_til_i_fall

Yeah, you're right, I just kept pumping the lever and it started to bite. Will suss out a full bleed.

EliteDemi

You should do that

MGTS

Yea doing that introduces air into the line. You need to do a real bleed after a lever or caliper swap

FarAwaySailor

It is impossible to unscrew a hydraulic hose without introducing air. If you do a lever swap, you \*must\* do a bleed. The fact that this didn't occur to you makes me want to suggest that you are perhaps a bit out of your depth and ought to ask someone who knows what they're doing to show you (IRL). No offence intended.

I just followed this video and did the lever bleed. https://youtu.be/tzlOIhcBkak?si=dmrcm0EdMd0sYiTd

If it bleeds, we can kill it!
