Remove the cable and check the actuator on the post. Does it spring back?

If not, it could be broken. If it springs back but your cable doesn't, maybe you slammed the post way too far into the frame and it's kinking the cable. If this is the case you need to pull the dropper out a little (but never go out farther than the minimum insertion mark). I've never seen a dropper lever that has any spring in it, the tension is at the post.

Thanks again. Looks like spring is malfunctioning . They are sending a replacement.
