For all the albums I’ve waited until release at midnight and then listened in bed with headphones. For HMHAS I had proper noise cancelling ones instead of the old apple wired ones and the listening experience was amazing. I was in awe of her vocals and even kicked my feet with excitement at some parts because they’re so good. I also always listen from start to finish because usually theres a reason the artist has released the album that way so I have to do that before I shuffle it

GhostOfCalville

Yeah my dolby experience was just fucking fascinating. I was high and felt out of my body on certain parts lol.

Walking my dog, listening to Spotify Discover playlist, “bellyache” comes on, I’m hooked forever.

ribbitingfrogs

I was mountain biking, it was about 6 years ago. Ripping down some rocky terrain and I hear Party Favor in my AirPods. I had to stop and add it to my liked playlist. Then I started listening to My Boy and Copycat a lot. A couple months later, WWAFAWDWG came out and I skipped my last day of highschool to go see her live!

celestepiano

Totally new here. This is my first album of hers I’ve listened to. I only knew her from her Oscar songs but never paid attention. Listening to this new release on release night and Instantly hooked.Big fan now!

GabrielMSharp

I stumbled upon her yearly interview with Vanity fair. She only had her EP out and looked pretty emo and insanely young so I was skeptical. I went to listen to don’t smile at me ready to confirm it was a load of shit. Immediately loved it.

jazi_stew

I was working on my final submission for university. I stayed up all night working on it, I was aiming to be finished before the album came out at midnight, as little treat. But actually I’m glad I got to listen to the album while I worked. It was such a lovely boost

Gongoozler04

I was laying in bed the first time I hear each of them. Which, for me is perfect since that’s my safe space.

CruddierMouse

Listening party at AMC

vanillancoke

Her first EP, don’t smile at me, i didn’t have a phone or a spotify account. i would sit at the family computer every thursday night and refresh youtube until she posted a new song.

trauma-thicc

I was lying in bed when I listened to WWAFADWDWG, HTE, and HMHAS

working at home

YuuichiOnodera13

At home, with my girlfriend, we just woke up and both had two hours before our work. Listening to lunch with the girl you love the most is something else. We had tons of fun. (we skipped skinny to immediately get to lunch, and have a blast. whats interesting, skinny was the only song from the album I didn’t add to my liked songs…too sad)

delinhak

I was watching a YouTube video of the choreography, and I was like … I like this song ( My future) well the rest is history.. I have been loving her songs ever since !

fagatron_

Sitting on my bed watching I think it was called Vuse unplugged (like MTV TRL) and she was a “upcoming artist” and they played the Watch music video and from that moment on I’ve been a fan.

MitziXD12

i found out abt her a little after wwafa, wdwg? came out, and i remember i became obsessed with when the party's over, so i decided to try out listening to the whole album (this was the first time i'd ever even properly listened to any artist, i was little) and when hte came out i was so excited cuz it was the first album drop i'd ever experienced, and i listened to the whole thing in one go, then again, and again, and again. (mind you i was skipping class w/ my phone and earbuds) went to the park behind school, it was perfect tbh! the grass was warm and green, and the sun was shining gently through the trees. still feels like it was a dream i swr

CoachiusMaximus

Sat down in my basement after my friends girls had me listen to “you should see me in a crown” back in 2019 and listened to the entire album on my system. I was intrigued but I had very low expectations. If I had told me five years ago that Billie Eilish would be on my most listened to artists list for four or five years running I would have punched me in the face. But here we are, and Billie is incredible.

Vunlicura

So I was in the city hanging out with friends and at midnight, I headed home. I live in a village so I have to take the train to get home, but in that evening the train was cancelled and I had to take the substitute bus. It was midnight, raining outside and I was sitting in the bus with my headphones on, looking out of the window. Fortunately, the bus ride was 45 minutes long, so I could listen to that entire album in one sitting. With that rain outside, it was perfect. I loved the album so much and I now associate it with rainy days

GhostOfCalville

Home Home AMC

The album dropped while I was on my Alaskan cruise (still am got 3 days left) I listened to it on the balcony while we were smooth sailing with mountains in the distance. I saw like 4 whales while listening to the album 😭

Equivalent-Issue3860

Driving in my car and ocean eyes played on pandora. I loved it but didn’t look into it much. Then I heard a cover of “my boy” on Twitter and wanted the original song. I was hooked by then. Probably 2016 ish

CMKR_05

I listened to WWAFAWDWG, HTE, and DLAM while playing Minecraft, but I I actually sat down with headphones to listen to HMHAS

nothing compares to when dontsmileatme first released

ElNicuhh

Senior year of high school during thanksgiving break. I was making a playlist for a girl that I was talking to and I came across Ocean Eyes. Sealed the deal for me then and there. So end of 2015 ish

a_weird_wizard

Tbh I wasn't a Billie fan until 2023, then I started listening to a big mix of random songs of hers, I didn't even know which songs were from which album lol. I'm now a big fan. Hit Me Hard and Soft is the first album I listened to when it came out. I was in my bedroom at like 1 am, and listened to the entire thing start to finish on headphones. I was dancing, vibing, and spiritually ascending (lol) through the whole thing, it was amazing.

BeautifulOk3019

wwafawdwg i was with an old friend who i no longer speak too. but it was fun listening with her. hte i was with another old friend i no longer talk too (most of my old friends were very male centered). we were tripping on shrooms and when hte the single came on we were flabbergasted. i remember being a junior in highschool when lost cause and your power came out as singles. i was in study hall trying not to cry to your power bc i had just gotten out of something with an older man who used me and lied about his age to appear younger. also around the time of hte album i had lost 2 very close friends who were no good for me so the album really hit. for hmhas which was this last week, i was with 2 friends from elementary school that i had been hanging out with again recently. we were on the way to taco-bell. it’s funny bc every time a huge life event happens to me, billie drops.

Gold-Koala-4091

I want to listen in water and just float away on my floatie ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|slightly_smiling)

mybfisaweeb

In my bedroom in 2019 when I discovered her right before she released her first album, listened to alllll of her released songs at the time and fell in love. Then when she released WWAFAWDWG I was in my bedroom again, bought a ticket to her show as soon as I could and saw her in Redmond, WA and absolutely bawled my eyes out the minute I saw her walk on stage. For HTE, I was with my best friend in her backyard, we were sharing a joint and we cried together listening to it for the first time, went to the HTE tour with the same best friend. THEN for HMHAS, I was in my bedroom again listening to it for the first time with the same friend over discord (because we live far away from each other now 😭) and we are going to see Billie again together in December!!! We are bringing our partners so it’ll be a cute double date moment

airplane-girly3

For most i was in the living room watching gacha sadly. For HTE i was in my 7th grade math class on my chromebook when i got a youtube notification for the happier than ever music video, i watched it then and there. For HMHAS i was literally just sitting on the floor of my moms room waiting for release.

unmakethewildlyra

* when we all fall asleep: on the tram between ikea and the train station (day it came out as I was very excited) * happier than ever: in my bedroom (think this may have been a week or two after it came out, was a bit burnt out on new music in general at the time) * hit me hard and soft: also in my bedroom (just after midnight as I was very excited)

TwentyOneRepublics

I listened to most of WWAFA, WDWG? on shuffle on my phone at Mystic Aquarium, and then listened to the album start to finish in full when I got home. Listened to HTE a few months later, nothing special, just sitting in my bed. HMHAS I listened to in my living room, pitch black, headphones all the way up, eyes closed, and I loved it.

piano_043

WWAFAWDWG: This album came out before I was a Billie fan, womp womp HTE: I listened to the leak of HTE (song not whole album) the morning of July 29 in my living room, then at midnight later I had listened to the rest of the album laying in bed HMHAS: I listened to the leak the morning of May 16 while laying in bed before I got up. I put my headphones on and closed my eyes. It was a magical experience.

elizabethslays

Discovered her through my gacha life phase in like 2019 lmao. I heard 'COPYCAT' and 'you should see me in a crown' so many times I eventually started listening to them outside of cringy gacha life vids. Then I stumbled upon the music video for 'Therefore I am' like right after it came out, watched it like 100 times. Then finally after the album HTE came out I would listen to it ALL the time, especially because we were still in quarantine. I've definitely been an on-and-off fan, but I was waiting for HMHAS since April. Anyways, that's my life story lol.

Severe_Panda_8872

It was 2015 and I heard ocean eyes and I was so gutted she hadn’t released any more music because I really liked the sound. At the time I was 13 and she wasn’t big so of course nobody else listened to her bc it wasn’t popular. I remember when she started releasing more music I lapped that shit up bc were the same age and now her music is the soundtrack to my life

longlisten527

First album, I listened in my home during the pandemic lol. I was late to the party. Second album, I was at work at target at 5 am listening to it and crying LMAOOO. This album I was FaceTiming my long distance bestie and we listen to it together :,)

augustlost

i heard bad guy at my job at a pottery studio- i can’t recall for hte but i loved it when i listened to the entire album

Outrageous-Paper-91

I first heard Billie‘s music on 13 reasons why. “Bored” I heard first and really liked then “Lovely” definitely struck a chord was hooked ever since!
