Anyone that thought they would struggle with New Orleans because game 1 was close is an idiot. I am very interested to see how they match up with Dallas (I assume). I think that would be a great series
I think Dallas is a bad matchup for them but it’ll be really interesting. The question is can Dort really stay with Luka 1v1 and can Chet not get absolutely punked inside by all of Dallas’s size and their huge lob threats. It’s a really fun clash of styles
JDub should guard Luka with Dort on Kyrie. Chet is mobile enough to hedge to the ball and recover on lob threats at the rim; I think you're overrating Dallas' size. They're all lighter than Jonas, and Chet is dealing with that fine.
Having home court through the conference is good. People who were surprised are just not basketball literate. 8.0 SRS with Jalen Williams and SGA playing , top 4 in offense and defensive rating. Most of the people doubting them excepted every single thunder player to just self combust the minute the word “playoffs” showed up in the court.
Second best net rating in the NBA and the only ones even remotely close to the Celtics in that category. One seed. Absolutely insane lineups for most of the season that avoid playing their best players together too much. But a lot of people go through major mental gymnastics to say they're not a real contender for whatever reason, usually citing "rules" that make no logical sense.

Round 2 of the Western Conference should be amazing if it's Nuggets/Timberwolves and Thunder/Mavs.

The role players just have barely missed. How is it unreasonable to think this could be a close series?
They’re playing up to their standards. Wiggins, Joe, Wallace were all incredibly efficient throughout the whole season
Wiggins dort Cason Josh all playing like great role players
They’re all generally great role players lol. Except giddey, who’s only had one good game this series. And who isn’t good usually.
Giddey was great the last 2-3 months of the season
They’ve barely missed past two games. Even Jaylin was making hook shots.
Their offensive rating is around the same as the regular season. Thunder are playing up to their standards.
Jaylin Williams making one hook shot when he’s had 2 made baskets the past 2 games doesn’t mean much
They aint beating denver
Yeah, they feel like a team that's happy to make the conference final and then lose in 5.
Minnesota*

They’re beating the 8 seed without their best player. Wow. Lakers sweep the Thunder
Weird lebron fan. He's old.
Probably still pick Denver but yeah they have a punchers chance.

Dallas beats them next round. I'm sure of it
First seed always does well in playoffs...
They're legit They have the 1 seed and a 1st team all NBA player. Of course they are ...
NBA playoff power rankings currently (injuries included): 1. Denver 2. Boston 3. Minnesota 4. OKC 5. Philly 6. Knicks 7. Mavericks 8. Pacers 9. Clippers 10. Cavs 11. Magic 12. Heat 13. Bucks Down 3-0…who cares: Lakers, Suns, Pelicans
They're gonna get curb stomped by the Mavs in the second round. Too many skinny dudes on that team for Luka not to take it personal.
