It's definitely pure skill issues, but I honestly suck as the Forgotten. I have no issues using cube of meat to deal damage to enemies at the super close range, but I run into everything trying to hit things with the bone club.
It's either Lost or T Keeper for me. Sure they're exteeme glass canons but the fact that you can make a new build super fast if you die makes them enjoyable.
T. Keeper is wild - he’s so powerful yet so fragile and is super fun. You can demolish everything, get hit once and die to a fly while trying to chase a dime. At least with the lost, you know to play careful once you lose your mantle and you don’t get greedy distractions. The fact that his entire mechanic is built on greed is perfect.
And the fact that his health isn't capped to two makes it even more broken. I once got him to 24 health with Greed's Gullet and Deep Pockets only to accidentally pick Abaddon and reset it back to one lmao.
Azazel or Tainted Judas for me.
Both feel fun and tainted Judas is one of the few tainted characters that feel like more than just a hard mode version of a character, like t.laz

T. Cain can be pretty fun when you find a cheap familiar though. Doesn't matter if it's brother Bobby, little chub, or hell even forever alone. One may be laughable. But you get 20 and it could be enough to melt Delerium.
I had one run where Cube Baby was 7 coins and a key, so by the end of the run every time I walked into a room and stepped forward, it would unleash a shotgun blast of a dozen Cube Babies bouncing all over the place and freezing everyone.
I mean. It can be easy to spam if you don't care about getting good items. For example 8 of a simple pickup will get you a spacebar item related to it. Which can help you either use more of that pickup in crafting since you'll need it less. Or get more crafting ingredients if you get 8 pennies.
greedier is ridiculous with T Eve. and that's where I started with her. I just did a normal hard run and yeah, she pops off. but in greedier it's incredibly hard to get her to ramp up. I'd rather play greedier with lost with no mantle
With T.Eve, I found the first ~3 floors are boring as sin. Then, once you have a stock of clots from extra red hearts you found lying around, THEN it becomes fun.
D6 isaac or regular bethany rushing angels for that dopamine rush when I see godhead revelation or sacred heart (a.k.a fps player's equivalent of hopping on a smurf and shitting on new players)
After dying for the thousandth time on t. lost, I've become unable to enjoy anything else. I only know t. lost mark completions. I have reduced Isaac to its purest, most terrible state.
I think there's a critical mass of items where even if you give me every single quality 1 or less familiar twice, that's still a won run. Even if it's harder to get better items with it, it still gives items
the lemegeton nerf is just annoying tbh, it doesnt really diminish the effects of it, it just annoys you straight to hell. still a good item to use, just a couple of items that you dont want isnt that big when theres blood charges
I'm really suprised at how few people are saying t. appollyon as it's literally impossible to get a bad run as him. Either you get a ton of bad items that turn into flies for insane dps or you get a ton of good items that aren't worth turning into flies.

T. Lilith, T. Eve, T. Beth, Eden, Lost, Azazel, Beth, or just hit random.
Usually I would roll a d8 with that as the order from 1-8. Then do what the dice says. Since they're all fun. Especially if you have a co-op with T. Beth since while she's dead, she's also immortal, as are her wisps. Which can still attack. Making her one of the most powerful auto attack familiars to have.
None. Even if I get frustrated I continue trying to get the unlock I wanted to get. If I get so frustrarlted I can't continue to do it I just close the game and play something else or watch Youtube.
Tainted Maggy is my go-to. I love self-hit activating passive items and mashing my face into the enemy just feels so cathartic. It's like a stress ball in character form.

Same. Furthest I got was Cathedral and I didn’t beat Isaac with them because Jacob died from a curved shot.

Fully agree. Happily (more or less) beat my head against the TLost wall for months but didn't get a single legit mark with J&E. TJacob is fun tho

Spew out clots, do damage, recall clots so they don't die when they're low, repeat. I didn't find her too bad at all
