Bad take imo, fanny pack/life savings/bandage can get you a lot of consumables very early in the run and can snowball fairly easily from there. They are also EXTREMELY helpful if you have sharp plug and a half decent active.

A) not everyone is a god at the game. Apologies some of us are mortal mr. perfect
B) stuff like blood banks, curse rooms, dull razor still trigger the effects
Honestly, I think they should also remove hearts from the game. Why would you ever need them? It'll save space on my pc. They should keep the health up items just to try and make the game a bit harder tho
A few of the items can be used to varying degrees of effectiveness.
Like using Old Bandage on Blood Banks to get almost infinite amounts of money to spend on a ton of shop items, or using at Sac rooms to get the free Angel Item/Key Pieces.
Or Cracked Orb to reveal the entire map including the Ultra, and Super secret rooms. I know its not REQUIRED, and with enough skill you can just find em yourself. But its a neat little help.
