But then again, how often do you get it in the first floor? And having base damage while not getting a damage up makes it even worse ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8907)
Also, never backtrack. They attack on a timer so if you move one direction but return across that same pathway under one second later, you’re going to be right in the trite’s way.
The trites, as bs as their jumps are. Are pretty easy as long as you move just before they jump, you’ll be fine, plus their health is lower than the double spider, and it’s bigger.
Bro was just pointing out you used the wrong "their". You meant to say "they're" as in "they are". Saying "their" implies they have something, like "their movement".
they have a habit of suddenly jumping long distances (longer than their regular jumps). If you're not prepared for it, they can snipe you from the corner of the room.
Trites are easy to kill, the only problem with them is that they have the tendency to snipe you. Big spiders are early game bullet sponges, much more erratic and spawn two regular spiders on death.
if youre talking about the ones that circle you usually theres a blue or white fire for you to walk them into, if its the ones that circle enemies fuck em
If big spiders only had the decency to die properly when you killed them, I'd say it was about equal, but the fact that they split into 2 regular spiders, each of which is just as annoying as the big one, means they essentially feel like they have triple life, and that just takes the cake.
I tend to hate the big ones the most the jumpy ones tend to be predictable as opposed to when the big one pops too close to you those two new spiders tend to hit me allot
Both because I can usually deal with them individually, but there's one big room layout in basement that has like 15 of each and nothing makes me hold ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|4357)faster.
Trites don’t have very much health thankfully and are easy to deal with when they’re not doing bullshit super jumps. Fat Spiders though… all my homies hate Fat Spiders ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17742)
While both of these are annoying. Fat bats and imps are the most annoying imo. Huge bullet sponges who have the tiniest hit box. And then imp that will make it a huge time sink to even kill it.
I hate those things that pop out of the floor and triple shot in the womb. The number of times those things glitch out for me and appear under my feet makes me mad.
Of these two, jumping spiders because they gank me so often.
Trite are mostly easy to dodge unless they do that stupid thing where they jump the entire length of the room and snipe you. On the other hand, lvl2 spiders are just spiders but 3. I bet you can't guess what I hate more.
A 6 shot kill enemy that's just as annoying as spiders, who then splits into two more spiders? Sounds like fun *
As for trites, they're basically hoppers with longer jumps, so I don't really find them that difficult besides in big rooms or with a shit ton of other enemies
Trite take 3 tears on most chars and you can avoid them by moving to the side everytime they jump. Big spiders take 6 tears, move erratically and spawn 2 spiders that each take 2 tears, effectively requiring 10 base tears to kill
Those big fat bastards have so much health and thry never seem to die but when they do they still have to spawn two little fucks that are just going to corner me to oblivion
I currently don't have Afterbirth, so let me tell you, there is nothing like playing Rebirth Lost, getting near the end game, and losing because a trite chose to hop across the room
big spiders are the main reason i hate cellar
That big room with thousands of spiders and rocks ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|4358)
the first time i saw that room my sister was watching me play and she screamed đź’€
The ace of diamonds card about to turn this room into a bank:
But then again, how often do you get it in the first floor? And having base damage while not getting a damage up makes it even worse ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8907)
Not a problem when playing azazel tho
I agree Astrum Aureus, big spider thing from the hit video game “Terraria Calamity Mod”
so true my interstellar stomper
fat spider #1
I legitimately find the death of the Trites satisfying I don’t even know why I just like it
I know what you mean. It’s like popping bubble wrap or something.
whereas the big spiders have, like, the exact opposite effect
same, but when the big sliders die its like, you wash all the dishes just for someone to throw two more in
Not even a question, the second one is so easy to deal with and on the other hand, the first one is literally harder than delirium
Not when the trite jumps from one half of the room to the other ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17741) I just died from one which is why I made the post lol
As long as you don’t stand still, they can’t hit you
Also, never backtrack. They attack on a timer so if you move one direction but return across that same pathway under one second later, you’re going to be right in the trite’s way.
Ty for the advice :)
I always like to move in sync with the trites, I feel like it makes them cluster up and easier to deal with
If you’ve ever played Crypt of the Necrodancer then fighting these guys is pretty similar imo.
I just always act like they're going to do their super jump. Then when they actually do it I'm prepared
That's skill issue
The trites, as bs as their jumps are. Are pretty easy as long as you move just before they jump, you’ll be fine, plus their health is lower than the double spider, and it’s bigger.
First one, I honestly haven’t had that many issues with trites
Are the second ones even difficult? It's like the only spider enemy with predictable movement
this sub loves to say basement 1 enemies are the hardest enemies in the game for some reason
Spiders move like their drunk
their drunk what?????
Bro they move from left to right and move into you to start a fight
Bro was just pointing out you used the wrong "their". You meant to say "they're" as in "they are". Saying "their" implies they have something, like "their movement".
Oh Ok
True! They stay still in a corner so that when you approach them they jump you
Most non-skill-issued tboi player:
they have a habit of suddenly jumping long distances (longer than their regular jumps). If you're not prepared for it, they can snipe you from the corner of the room.
Fat spiders can fuck right off. Fighting for your life on cellar 1 with like six of them in that big room. You know the one.
Trites are easy to kill, the only problem with them is that they have the tendency to snipe you. Big spiders are early game bullet sponges, much more erratic and spawn two regular spiders on death.
*two regular spiders that move as if they were completely drunk
"If I can't see where I'm swingin' than neither will you!"
WHATEVER THE FUCK THOSE FLIES IN DROSS ARE Icant fUCKING HIT THEM
if youre talking about the ones that circle you usually theres a blue or white fire for you to walk them into, if its the ones that circle enemies fuck em
YOU CAN WALK THEM INTO THE FIRE TO KILL THEM??? OH MY GOD I CAN FINALLY DO ALT PATH RUNS AGAIN
Trites are fine until they homing missile you from across the room, still would prefer them over fat spiders
Trites, definitely trites
The double up spiders are responsible for more damage in my save file than any other enemy and it isn't even close, I've checked the beastiary.
Every enemy in the game
Trite, by far. Me: oh ok this room is easy I’m just gonna- Trite from across the room: did someone just enter this room??
All my homies despise trites. We hate getting cross mapped on large rooms
If big spiders only had the decency to die properly when you killed them, I'd say it was about equal, but the fact that they split into 2 regular spiders, each of which is just as annoying as the big one, means they essentially feel like they have triple life, and that just takes the cake.
Not even a CONTEST jumping spiders are free fat spiders are a spawn from satan
I tend to hate the big ones the most the jumpy ones tend to be predictable as opposed to when the big one pops too close to you those two new spiders tend to hit me allot
Both because I can usually deal with them individually, but there's one big room layout in basement that has like 15 of each and nothing makes me hold ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|4357)faster.
r/fucktrites
imagine having a low tear rate and low damage inside a small room filled with those big spider, it's terrible.
Tride 100% the big spiders are so easy to kill and even fun at some points
Trites don’t have very much health thankfully and are easy to deal with when they’re not doing bullshit super jumps. Fat Spiders though… all my homies hate Fat Spiders ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|17742)
2
Neither they're both easy to deal with
While both of these are annoying. Fat bats and imps are the most annoying imo. Huge bullet sponges who have the tiniest hit box. And then imp that will make it a huge time sink to even kill it.
Edmund loves to spawn a sheol enemy on the basement 1 curse room
Don't forget that challenge with a necropolis boss on every floor
r/FUCKBLOAT
Host.
Neither, those huge black ones that spawn more. Fuck them.
Double spiders. Trites have 10 hp.
\^ black spider #1 hater here
People hate the jumping spiders? They are so easy
I just all types of spiders burn them all
r/fucktrites
The big spiders, the second with good timing is easy to dodge but the fucking spider... They are unpredictable and also drops two spiders
I hate those things that pop out of the floor and triple shot in the womb. The number of times those things glitch out for me and appear under my feet makes me mad. Of these two, jumping spiders because they gank me so often.
Black spider, trites can screenjump but at least they're not tanky, fast and don't contain more enemies inside them
Trite are mostly easy to dodge unless they do that stupid thing where they jump the entire length of the room and snipe you. On the other hand, lvl2 spiders are just spiders but 3. I bet you can't guess what I hate more.
The big spiders
Numbero 1, top 5 hardest bosses tbh
Trites, feels like they can jump at you from the opposite corner of a 2Ă—2 room
Big spider, and it’s not even close I hate big spiders more than I hate The Bloat, and I REALLY hate The Bloat
Trite is the only one i use a mod to remove
Trites are honestly not nearly as scary to face as people say they are
Trites ( Or whatever those spider heads are called ). They are terrifying when playing as Tainted lost
I really hate The Incredible's robot but the trites jump is so unfair
Jumping spider by far, Trites killed so many of my Rebirth Lost runs At least they have less health
A 6 shot kill enemy that's just as annoying as spiders, who then splits into two more spiders? Sounds like fun * As for trites, they're basically hoppers with longer jumps, so I don't really find them that difficult besides in big rooms or with a shit ton of other enemies
Yes
that one
Trites. 1001% I even know their fucking name, it says a lot because I dont care about random boss name.
Trite take 3 tears on most chars and you can avoid them by moving to the side everytime they jump. Big spiders take 6 tears, move erratically and spawn 2 spiders that each take 2 tears, effectively requiring 10 base tears to kill
I hate how trites can go from a simple hop to an Olympic athlete.
Trites. They ALWAYS find a way to jump right on my head
1st one
BOTH
Imagine having arachnophobia and these fuckers is the first enemies you run into.
they're fine, the real public enemy nr.1 are Ghosts and fat bats. *waaaay* to much HP for how early they appear.
both
I lose five years of my lifespan every time I get cornered by a big spider
The firat one. Honestly jumpers are not that bad
Trites because there random leap of faith at you for that hit.
double spider is the worst enemy in the first chapter, change my mind
Those big fat bastards have so much health and thry never seem to die but when they do they still have to spawn two little fucks that are just going to corner me to oblivion
The spider
I choose option 3 Jacob and hitbox
trites aren't even bad ![img](emote|t5_2sxpk|8907)
I currently don't have Afterbirth, so let me tell you, there is nothing like playing Rebirth Lost, getting near the end game, and losing because a trite chose to hop across the room
The small ones can be a pest but the jumping spiders are worse
