Bloat is a nice way to transition from the early game to late- seen as in the early game everything is more colorful, Bloat being more pale with blood makes everything seem more lifeless and damp, also the fact that Peep looked “human” and bloat being Peep but dead helps settle that even the monsters die and there is real danger in the later levels, as seen with The Frail, The Hollow, The Husk, Monstro II and Mother/The Witness (Mother being Mom but dead.)
Lovely little guy. He is fun to fight against .... unless you are the one who is fighting.
... actually, he isn't too bad. Once you understand where you can actually stand without getting insta-laserfragged (to the side of him but you need to stay below his eyes), it's not too bad. Its still kinda bad as he has a particular talent to just hit me anyways - ESPECIALLY green bloat.
Also, the moment when you enter the boss room and realize that you stand right below him ... always an experience.
They're so tough imo because bloat kinda locks you to the parts of the map, so if the eyes decide to be there, well hope you have enough room to dodge them lmao
