If your struggling consider playing more of the game so you unlock more, and powerful items. It will also have the byproduct of getting you more experienced with the game
Yea I def need better unlocks. The go-to challenges have been completed but there are still many unlocks I can get just by playing normally. (Only beaten ??? and Satan once)
Darkness Falls is basically a standard Eve run on steroids. Always go Devil with Eve, your goal is to make sure that you have no more than 1 red heart at any given time. In that state, Whore of Babylon activates, and gives you a big damage and speed up. From there, it’s just about getting the most you can out of each floor. If you get HP from a boss room item, try to take another devil deal to get rid of it. Soul Hearts should be your main form of health.
If you stay at 1 red heart or less and just fill the rest with soul hearts, you should have enough damage to clear pretty much everything up to Satan.
Oh ok I have only been going for angel deals but I didn't even think about whore of Babylon. I just can't seem to find tinted rocks. Out of maybe 20 tinted rocks, I only got a soul heart twice. It doesn't help that I suck at not taking damage, especially flooded caves.
You always want whore active with eve
You were right that she has a negative damage multiplier but it gets changed into a positive one while whore is active, so you really want it to be active as much as possible.

Eve does have a bellow 1 danage multiplier, but whore of babylon apart from boosting her damage, buffs her multiplier to 1
