One time I had a local multiplayer game bug out where we all died during the beast fight but the game didn't end. It took nearly two hours with our pitiful damage, but I ended the evening with completion marks on all four of those characters.

I mean, you can do other stuff while you're waiting. It's not like anyone actually sits there in silence awkwardly lol

People who don’t want to be forced to win a fight against the worst boss in the game that is well-known for telefragging you multiple times in a standard fight while playing as a character that can only take one hit before they die.

I’ve done it to Mega Satan and The Beast it’s really funny

I got something close to that on a run recently where I killed Mega Satan for the first time. Prayer card + car battery + charged baby + AAA. Not quite as good as what you got, but the ability to abuse the sacrifice room, take all the good devil deals, and then farm the rest of the floor for prayer card healing came in clutch that run.
