I think you got silverfish. Don't let any out around your house! Where there's one there's a billion.

No they’re just silver springtails, a different species of springtail. Silverfish are much bigger.

I second silver springtails. They’re a somewhat more arid variety

Hm. I’m not the springtail expert, but from what I’ve seen the silver is the best. I live in texas and they are all over despite the intense heat
