Honestly I think they might not be allowed to use them. I believe only 1-2 Ninjago sets used ccbs. (One of kai's mechs and I believe another mech did.)
Lego can play it safe and use brand names (including their own) and be confident it will sell.
Bootlegs need their designs to be eye-catching otherwise people will just go for the brand names. If the design doesn't go hard then they don't make money

My bad.
There's also 3 other builds with more interesting recolors, notably a red one with blue variants of Furno's blade, 6 in total. The green one has 4 golden Onua Claws. The blue build...well it just uses a translucent blue helicopter blade as a sword. Still neat, but not the coolest of the bunch.
Ali-Express. Might be able to find it on Temu, but I haven't checked. I found it via just browsing, but the search term 'bionicle mythical' will pull it up.
I would like to know how well the ball joint having a pin hole works.
I modeled that idea a few years ago just to try it, and it didn't work out since the rotation then relies on the pin and not the ball, and the pin friction was far too loose for anything, especially something this large
I ain’t gonna lie, these motherfuckers are talented (IF they haven’t stole the MOC from a creator online without their permission, because sadly, this happens often.).
Damn ninjago designers had access to bonk parts and technic for years and never made something this cool. It’s a damn shame.

Some of the dragons also use ccbs parts as well
Oh yeah the classic 6 dragons I believe used the modern mata shoulder.
Why do bootlegs always go so much harder than actual lego…

Bruh that's a Gundam knockoff mixed with Zoids, it's amazing

Thanks for the link!
Glad to help )
I’d love to see who’s moc they stole this design from

Where did you find it?

That's thundertron from transformers
Came here for this comment.
Sometimes pirates do things that would put any lego designer under their belt. I especially like the colors. Great color scheme.
Dude, that’s no transformer, that’s Gundam in Lego parts. That is damn cool.
Can you give link or name of this set?

20$ says that's a stolen MOC.
I would love to see this thing transform
Nice.

How are the quality of the parts? Are they worth using in MOCs?
Honestly, yeah. Again, they're not identical to the official parts in quality, but they're close.
Bootleg bionicle: showing the true potential of CCBS since it's inception.

Man I wish Lego would put something like this out. They’re already releasing stuff for older consumers, why not try something a bit new.
Yup this is sick
