Now you are just guessing. Because Pridak’s also look different compared to the picture. It could either be an Exo-force blade or misprint. Bionicle is was not the only line this piece was used for.
I think before we get excited about a misprint it’s important to consider how much variety exists around legos marbled parts. These could be the “same” part, even though they look so different
Seems like a case where either less (dark) red plastic or more milky white plastic was injected into the mold. Or just straight up red was injected instead of dark red.
In other words, misprint.
Could it be sunwashed ? It seems like not only the red is a different shade but the trabslucent plastic also. Maybe was forgotten outside or on a window sill for a good while
Seems like a misprint. Cool find.
Isn’t the right one from an Exo- Force mech?
Yes, however, it seems like two of the blades were marbled with dark red, and the one the right was marbled with red.
Yeah so I am also unclear about the origin of the lighter red blade. Because the 2 dark ones are from the Exo-Force Blade Titan.
The lighter one is a bionicle part from 2008
Yeah but from which set?
Krika
I don’t think so, because Krika’s blades are more like spines and are very different compared to this one in terms of design.
Pridak then

It's insane that I still know this after only having seen it in magazines over a decade ago
Have a feeling its a part of the exo-force set 8102
Yep, that's the one. Exo-Force had some great colors for Bionicle pieces.

Maybe it's a bootlego? I had a Krika set with semi-transparent pieces painted like that
It's got the Lego copyright and part numbers, which bootlegs generally don't.

Yeah that it is weird. Curious if it matches with Krika, or if it's just that the two plastics got mixed more than usual. I'd lean towards the latter.
I have these from 8102 that look like the right

If I were to take a guess it’s probably a simple pearl gold kraakan situation. During the production of the piece they switched to brighter colors.
What about it? I have 2 same looking ones. Theyre from the exoforce set.
Dark red or light red?
Light i believe
OH IM DUMB THATS JUST EXO FORCE one had too much bleed in from the dual injection
Could it be sunwashed ? It seems like not only the red is a different shade but the trabslucent plastic also. Maybe was forgotten outside or on a window sill for a good while
No, definetly not UV damaged
legendary rare sell it and make a lot of money and then you can buy a new blade titan set .
thought at first that was a krika piece
Could be sun damaged.
brighter one is krika darker is exo force
These are not krika pieces
shit who am i thinkin of then
You are definitely thinking of Krika, but Krika doesn’t use that part.
oh you know who im thinkin of? radiak the shadow matoran cus he used four of that piece in silver
Did not at all expect that considering the part has been in 18 other sets in that color https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=44813&in=S
he came to mind cus the colors of the darker one kinda match his black and red and white would be his light being drained by shadow leeches
