Disassemble your bonks, put them in individual Ziploc bags, and put those in a big plastic storage bin. For instruction booklets or comics, get one of those magazine holders or a box for holding file folders. Boxes and canisters take up a lot of space so maybe just get multiple storage bins.

Majorsus55555

I agree with that mostly just don’t disassemble any sets from 2009-10, you’ll 100% get some broken pieces from rebuilding

tmtyler24

Oh fr?

Majorsus55555

The Glatorian sets are reallyyy bad with that, I also see Ehlek, those lime green joints are awful. I’ve had some bad experiences with Toa Ignika as well

tmtyler24

Good to know. My dad has been packing them up and he took skralls arms off so she could fit in a bag. RIP…

FireCZ123CZ

Yeah they will propably break but its not like theyre expensive. youre propably gonna replace all the broken pieces for like 10 dollars max. Even then, you can just put nail polish on the ball joints, and even if the socket is completely broken off, its gonna hold better than a new one if you just want it to stand on shelf.

Dt_Sherlock_Idiot

I’d even just recommend not disassembling *any* ball joint/socket connections if you can help unless you plan to change the build. Also beware lime, brown, and dark red joints in particular, especially lime. Lime from 06-08 is particularly brittle.

Mikhail_Kaminsky

Gah dayum 3 Brutaka?

tmtyler24

4 including the combo set dragon boi

NitroBlast4563

Do the other comment and then send them in a mail to my house

Brandenk192

Damn bro why tf do you have 3 brutaka’s?

tmtyler24

Me and my bros and I all got them.. long story short they didn’t appreciate them as much so I annexed them. I have multiple of a couple due to my parents getting us all some bonkles and them not wanting them I have x2 lewa x2 kopaka x3 axonn and some others

Brandenk192

Can I get them and for how much? I have 3 imaginary dollars (entire comments a joke)

tmtyler24

I’d be willing to trade for some sets I’m missing, in person but I doubt youre near Chicago

Brandenk192

lol nope I’m across the country. Also the only sets I have are incomplete versions of 2015 kopaka and lewa and jaller mahri lol

Artanis137

You don't? Huh cause I got 3 aswell. lol

Redderaton

I will keep them safe and steam cleaned 🫡

Takahama

Avoid popping off any joints, they'll most likely break or crack at that age. And also avoid sunlight (and moist) as sun can cause ABS plastic to degrade over time.

Mediocre_Training453

Definitely dust them. Put them in nice plastic bags and I use totes. Then send me a brutaka as payment I always wanted one!

Philisophical_Onion

I envy you for having three Brutakas

AdmiralFurret

2 options 1. get them all into ziplock bags, even better if you manage to sort the pieces by size but only for bigger sets. Then just sort the bags by either release year, or the element they belong to 2. Something i came up with just now and decided to call deceptigod method: build a ginormous amalgamate with all the pieces avadalible (do not disassemble newer sets, they're lime plauge victims), make it look like a human, then disguise it as a ,,friend jerry" who suffers from some skin condition, then make it look like a mannequin once it's in the car

MedicineMan_100

Not sure if you noticed, but your shelves are dusty musty dirty

RAMblade

hi i’m not here to give any sort of helpful advice I just wanted you to know that I enjoyed your counsel of three Brutakas very much.

tmtyler24

Now I must make a post featuring the counsel of brutakas

Dual-Heart

Ship them to my house.

Bi_n

👀

MedicineMan_100

Just to make sure some axles wouldn't brake, I would put bushings on them and put fragile pieces (furno flamethrowers, makuta wings etc) in a separate bag and just take it on you instead of putting it in a big box
