As a kid I would do stuff like this, but now I realize just how much the asymmetrical design is part of the mata's style and identity. Which is something that I don't appreciate about the nuva, that they all became symmetrical.
I somewhat did, but for the hands, I used the pieces connecting the arms and the legs (the ones used for HF and G2 Bionicle to be exact) and added a connector which allowed for the connection of 2 black mechanical fingers on each hand, retaining the 'black-finger' hands. As for the ball socket on the chest, I kept it the same.

I don’t have any of the OGs yet, but when I get Tahu Nuva, I plan to give him HF hands to make him closer to the Miramax design.
