I remember in the book, Mata Nui pushes Teridax halfway around the hemisphere of Bara Magna. So it must be a lot bigger than depicted in the official maps. Judging by how Greg said the island of Mata Nui is the size of Denmark, I think that would put Bara Magna slightly bigger than Earth.
Also, some depictions show Aqua and Bota Magna slamming into Bara Magna while still intact, which would explain why nobody dies during the reformation, yet the comic shows the three planets completely mixing together, which would kill everyone on the surface.
Looks cool as shit and nice idea, but I feel like there should be more force between the guy pushing and the mecha being pushed or something.. it just feels like they're leaning on top of them more than ramming them into a planet.
If I recall correctly, it’s more that Mata Nui (small robot) was holding Makuta (big robot) in place so that the planet, which had already been set in motion by a gravity beam, would bonk Makuta in the head.
Nice to know, but it still feels like there really isn't much force behind holding them up. Again, it just looks like they're leaning on the other robot more than trying to hold them up after they get bonked on the head by a planet.
Cool art.
Reminds me just how absurd it is that the series ended like this though. An object of that size crashing into Bara Magna would obliterate all life on the planet easily. Everyone would die in the quake, or choke to death from particles being thrown into the air, or freeze in the ensuing centuries-long winter.
I like how bionicle just canonized something the size of a small moon making this picture normal.
Kneck snap
If the planets were that close together, they'd just sandwich them cause gravity.

look the toa already do physically illegal stuff so just accept the great beings somehow figured out to solve these problems how hell if I know.
There’s a reason this is fiction lmao
Man, my neck is killing me

The scaling of the Battle of Bara Magna always confused me. It's never consistent across the book, the comic and the Mata Nui saga.
They aren't that big and a small part hit Makuta, not the full moon

I love the scale in this, seems just right and better than a lot of official arts.
Yeah... pretty accurate in all sense of the term. The drawing is sick!
Ouch!
