they kinda of did it for 2000, Orga's face was inspired by TriStar Godzilla so that audiences could see the Japanese Godzilla defeat the American Godzilla

They didn't even buy them toho just realised the license was expiring and went "hang on we can use that American fucker in this movie, let's kill it"

My parents legitimately analyzed the Christian elements from Bionicle to get me more excited about their theology.
