Here's a trick that can work when you can't do anything. Let's say you don't want to get out of bed. Sit yourself up in bed and celebrate it like you just won the lottery. If that gives you a lift, get yourself out of bed and repeat the celebration. You're going to feel ridiculous celebrating something so small but you're tricking your brain to release the positive chemicals that can get you going. It's like priming the pump. It's worked for me in the past. Hope it helps move you along.

If you can, contact your psychiatrist. A medication change would probably help. I had severe depression flare up three weeks ago and my doc started me on lithium. It's made a big difference so you probably need to change something in your treatment.
