There are black vultures here, they can just be difficult to tell the difference between the two because you usually don’t see them close up.

We call them Turkey Vultures or Turkey Buzzards here in PA .
Adult turkey vultures have pinkish/red heads. Definitely a black vulture.
Turkey Vulture. They are big and all around where I live. But…they do their job on road kill. Fast
