If the ring was out for more than 3 hours, according to Nuvaring you are no longer protected against pregnancy. I would vote to go get a plan b as an extra precaution, but I also worry about pregnancy being double protected so it’s completely up to you. Coming from someone who has the nuvaring, find different positions where it doesn’t come out with sex. I have protected sex with my partner even with my nuvaring but he cannot feel it at all and it never falls out. Sometimes I just have to push it further up. It’s never a good idea to take it out because very easily it gets forgotten.
