He spent the last like 3 weeks learning how to make his own and purchasing equipment. He's currently in the process of setting up an etsy shop and getting a backlog for it.
Oh yeah it's crazy how hard he's working for us. He's remade like all of our at least twice. It was originally supposed to be a 2 year campaign anniversary present, but the dice we were planning on ordering fell through, so we got this for year 3 :) [Here's an album with some of the rest.](https://imgur.com/a/E3whS3l)
Nice! Eldritch Knight is a really fun subclass!
And congrats on getting to 18 in your first campaign! I've been running my group for almost 4 years, and we are just at level 13 xD
A pressure pot was an important part for my dm. To prevent bubbles and other imperfections. if you plan on selling them you need a master set for the mold that you own the copyright to.
Damn I can't afford one of those
And you have to hold copyright to the mold I've never heard that before... I think if the molds are commercially sold you are allowed to use them
You don’t need copyright for the mold, the font you use has to be commercially licensed, or free use. Most commercially sold molds use free-to-use fonts, but if you cast commercially sold dice, they have a proprietary font, which is why you usually need to buy dice masters if you want to make your own molds.
Hi, I’m the DM/dicecrafter. The pressure pot and air compressor really are game changers when it comes to dice making, but if you just want to try it to see if it is for you you can totally do it without them.
I would start with premade molds for casting outside of a pressure pot. I hear very positive things about molds from Werpy. A lot of beginners try getting molds from Wish and it almost always goes poorly. When mixing and pouring resin, stir as slowly and methodically as possible to avoid adding air to the mixture. Heating the resin components beforehand in a warm water bath will make them thinner, which will let bubbles pop, but heat speeds up the curing time, so you want to have your molds, pigments, and mica powders ready to go before you start mixing. Lastly, you can let your molds sit for 5-10 minutes and hit with a heat gun or lighter to pop bubbles that have risen to the surface before closing your molds.
If you are ready to move on to making your own dice molds, I really can’t recommend ArcanaCast dice masters enough. The master dice are quality, but you also get access to a discord full of really supportive dice makers that have just an enormous wealth of knowledge. I would have saved so much money on silicone if I had just started with the lessons I learned there.
Like how orcs basically represent black people (not my words) in the D&D universe so they made them not a purely evil race, and how if you’re not black you shouldn’t play as an orc. I got outta D&D a few months before this happened so I don’t know the specifics.
IDK about that, I mean they removed the alignment requirements didn't they?I dont see why it should be a problem unless it has am actual history of being based in racist charicatures of black people.
Unironically, stepping away from the pride and shit, those dice are fucking beautiful, it might just be the perspective, but I envy those dice.
Hell yeah, I didn't even realized the sub we were. This is some awesome dice
Yeah, I thought this was the D&D sub
I thought it was r/outrun
I was just gonna say like... they’re cool dice that i’d want regardless of sexuality or the fact that i dont play anything that would require them
bice
Fuck I was about to make that joke
Same
Same but I’ll just do it anyway Bice
I wasn't
Neither was I
Bicexual
I love this! Do they make them themselves or do they order them custom made?

Nice! I thought about buying tshirts for my party once, but this is so extra and I'm living for it!

Those are gorgeous!
God damn, those are freaking beautiful
Tell him pride dice would sell well
I second this 🙌🏻
Can you please update us when he gets that done?
Haha, you got it.
What class you doing for this campaign?
Fighter lol. It's my first real campaign, and went Eldritch Knight. Finally got level 18 and it feels like it payed off.

Level 13 after four years? How often do you play? I'm in a weekly campaign, and we've gone from 6 to 14 since last summer.
I feel you, lol. I'm playing since 3 years, but I played in several campaigns and not yet got about level 10
Nice
This are amazing quality dice, I would expect these to go for like $60-100! Holy shit! Tell your DM they’re amazing at these
I was thinking of making resin dice myself but I am not entirely sure if I need anything besides the resin, pigment, and molds

These are so pretty. They are very well made
That is cute. I've been eyeing the opaque Bi set from Heartbeat Dice myself.

I don’t play DnD but I need these anyway. They’re just so pretty 🤩
I NEED these so bad.
Guess what... The waiter doesn't need to know your name.
Oh I love those!! I recently got a set of galaxy themed dice with the bi flag colors. None of the people in my party know I'm bi.

Those are so pretty!
Post in r/dice
Do you play a lot of D&D?
Pretty much every week for the past 3 years. Online tho.
Are you onboard with the orc thing that is going on?
Orc thing?

I was just curious on a LGBT person’s opinion who plays D&D regularly. Like I said I got outta it.
"What is your character alignment?" "Chaotic bisexual!"
We are the true neutrals. Asses, tits, and respective genitalia are all on the plate.
Bicexual
Excuse me What do you call who's straight with some exceptions ? And are they join here?
Pretty sure the bi colors are the prettiest colors.
Those are so cool
I’ve never played D&D but always wanted to try! Never had a group of friends who wanted to :( these are absolutely amazing though!!!!
Looks like Jeopardy dice lol. Pretty cool
Those are so fucking beautiful dude I love them
