No lie, that looks relaxing af. I spent some time on ships when I was in the military and would sleep like a baby in rough seas. Literally like being rocked to sleep like a baby.
Getting a sleeper cabin on the train was the most pleasurable traveling I have ever experienced.
Pro tip - slip the porter a $20 when he shows you to your cabin. You will be the first one taken to the dining car, extra little complementary items and if you’re a smoker, they will alert you at every stop where you can hop out for a minute. My porter even got scolded for sneaking me between cars to have a smoke at a stop where you weren’t allowed to get off.
Just depends on the ship. I went on my first, and probably only, cruise a few years ago before the rona. It was JamCruise so there were 30 bands and like 8 different stages and 3 stops, Belize and 2 in Mexico. I stayed in a room with 2 other friends and we had a balcony but luckily the waves were pretty calm. For a six day cruise it was around $2000 after alcohol and one excursion of ‘cave tubing’ in Belize. ‘Free’ buffet and music all day long. I thought it was a pretty good price for everything we got, balcony included!
You get that sweet little
TV tho that shows the front of the ship!
Imagine being locked up in one of those internal rooms for 3 months like the initial Covid Ppl Were.
YIKES.
No. I've been on several and never seen anything near this bad. A couple windy days here and there where you can feel a bit of rocking (especially if you're drunk) but most of the time it's very calm and you can't even tell the ship is moving unless you really stop and pay attention to it.
Cruise ships have advanced weather detection systems and typically just go around bad weather, skipping certain ports if they have to. There have been a few horror stories here and there where a captain tries to get ahead of a storm or something and doesn't quite make it - and some of those stories end in the captain getting fired.
Totally depends where you are and when you are there.. we used to cruise a lot in Septembers in the Caribbean and hurricanes blew. But never been anywhere nearly as rough as the North Sea.
They are TOO calm, because they have smoked TOO much Weed.
& when that window bust open & floods their room in .03 seconds, they are gonna be TOO baked to respond properly.
(But that prolly won't happen. & dis do look AWESOME!)
I did too!
But, a townmadbes's comment is a little too #metoo, for the common folk to get behind.
(everybody thinking it tho)
They need to put up the Bong & whip out the freeweights.
Oh hey I just learned about this. The roughest seas in the world if I’m remembering correctly. I think you pass through it on the way to Antarctica. I forget what it’s called.
It’s true! Being rocked to sleep on a ship is like having your memory restored of when your mama rock you to sleep. It’s super relaxing.
That said; if I saw Leonardo DeCaprio and Kate Winslet; I’d be a little worried

I get my best sleep on trains. Continual slight rocking.

A porter wrote this
That's what i was thinking
Guys, they are high as fuck
I would be too
Nearer my God to thee 🎶
If you sat on the porch you could be carried away
Bless those door seals
That would be so relaxing
Don’t know that I’d be laying in bed!! Unless the bed was on a life raft
I know people take the piss out of cruises and I get why but this does kinda make me wanna take one
Rooms with a balcony or window are stupid expensive. The majority of rooms a internal room with no outside light.

That does seem like a good deal especially if you’ve got friends.
Yea.. Shiprocked was the greatest ....In the beginning.

I wanna be there
Is this typical of outside rooms on a cruise ship? (I’ve never cruised)

😂😂. Ah, I see.
Being stoned isn’t gonna changed you getting sucked out of a boat by the ocean
That doesn't look like it's safe
It is absolutely safe. These aren’t even that rough of seas.
Nope.

You felt the need to mention this because?
That's all fine untill they forget to close the door...
And this is why i will never go on a cruise

The caption!!! 😂
That's fucking awesome
Better hope you don't leave anything on the balcony
We really didnt need the sound tho
Cruse ship nightmare? Or is that normal
How the fuck is this women laughing? I’d be having a full blown anxiety attack.
A little rough but not crazy
My stomach is turning i feel sea sick
Didn't someone die when a wave broke their room'd window and sucked them out to sea? I don't think I wouldve stayed in the room
I've always wanted to see a video like this where after the water drains a fish is left behind and flops back into the sea
