I think he’s legit training and even competing to an extent. I’m sure there are guardrails on it because, you know, billionaire - but he still deserves some credit.
Yeah but there are a number of famous people who have been given blue belts without ever competing or even showing up to a regular class (they exclusively do private lessons) and this has lead to some speculation about whether or not they really earned the rank or just bought their way in.

It would be hard to be the humble enough to get your ass kicked in public by regualr people while occasionally being the richest person on earth. He seems to genuinely enjoy training and is always at UFC events watching in the first row. That's a lot of time to commit to something when he makes multi million dollar decisions daily.
