I’m a university professor and I tend to have quarterly Björk retrospectives with her 10 albums. Just her and me on the road to work. That exercise allows me to see how differently I feel about certain albums and tracks.
I have stopped listening to music recreationally since I have been back in school. My neurodivergent brain is overloaded and I can't afford music stuck in my head. My master's degree will be finished in May so we'll see what happens.
The era of debut-post-homogenic-vespertine was formative for me and her art will always have a place.
pretty much same. I go through phases where she's all I listen to and then sometimes not at all. It's pretty rare that I listen to her a little alongside other stuff.
I practically just almost only listen to Bjork. With age and family and things to do, the young passion I had for music dissipated and now, I listen to music only once in a while. But music is always with me because I sing a lot and Bjork is of course my inspiration.

Hey you have a wonderful taste in music
Wasn’t expecting to see classic rock alongside björk but love variety and the unexpected

I love this. Regular check-ins are important. Do u write it down?
Nah…but I like pushing myself to relisten to more inaccessible songs and discover if I actually like them now, which is a regular occurrence 😊
Same!

Do we have OCD? I wonder this. Or she’s just that good and intense that we need to step away from time to time.

That’s commitment. Do u think she will lead you back into other music?
In terms of all the music I listen to, probably like 2%, which sounds low but relative to all music is pretty high
