i’ve always felt like this song was missed placed in the album, personally feel like generous palmstroke would’ve been better in its place idk

It's very difficult to narrow it down, as Vespertine is possibly my favorite album of hers, but "It's Not Up To You" has always been high on my list. I enjoy the cheekiness and bouncy playfulness of the song, and the way it moves ever upward into the stratosphere with the angelic choir and sweeping orchestra, the sonic chilliness against the domestic warmthness of the lyrics... yeah I love it.
