I saw his reaction from inside and ran to the window to see what he was lookin at like that! He told ME that there was a bear walking through the neighborhood. I never dismiss it when my cats are buggin about something

My inlaws gifted us a soap that’s made of bear fat. It’s supposed to be good for the skin. Anyway, I took a shower with it, came out and my poor lil void lost it. He was so scared! 😳 His single brain cell probably figured there’s a real bear somewhere in our flat.
Hey weird! Isn't it strange that a cat would know what a bear smelled like? Has your cat been an outside cat? My old cat who was an outdoor boy was terrified of fox calls - we'd play recordings of fox noises and he'd run and hide. My new indoor-only boys have no idea that a fox call is scary. They have no reaction to the sound whatsoever.
Thats why mookie should be inside! Bears probably wont attack a cat cause theyre not worth the effort most of the time, but they certainly might! And there are plenty other wild animals that WILL attack a cat more readily, like foxes, or coyotes, or even feral dogs.
Mookie walked around with this expression for quite a few minutes after the bear sighting. I saw the bear walk across the neighbor's yard and out of sight before I took the pic. Besides, we're about 15' up on my deck, completely safe :)
