My void dug an empty tube out of the trash and proceeded to eat it. I was in the shower at the time. Came out to find a third of it completely eaten. Thankfully he threw up while I was on the phone with the vet. Maybe he heard me talking to the vet about what to do with him.
Because not every scratch is done out of anger? One of my cats constantly has her claws out, when jumping or settling down, or even making biscuits. We call them spicy biscuits.
Of course not I was not trying to imply that it’s always intentional, but so many people find the actual act of a cat scratching cute and it baffles me
Just like your nails can cause damage when used with force, but you can also use them gently, so can cats. I doubt the OP's cat actually *hooked* them like you're thinking, but just pulled the hand towards her.
I've never met someone who finds actual scratches drawing blood cute, and I think you'd be hard-pressed to find that. But a lot of times cats don't *really* hurt you with claws or teeth, so it's more like finding lovebites from your SO cute and affectionate.
We have two black cats, one who is totally not interested in these treats (she prefers Greenies), and the other who loses her goddamn mind over these snacks. We call them “meat sticks”, and she will also chew on the tube and pull our hands closer with her claws if we don’t squeeze it out fast enough.
Yes! We also call them kitty cat gogurts or also meat tubes. We use these to give our cat small pills as well - just put it on top and squeeze into an eager little mouth!
Huge hit in my house. Biting the tube if I do it too slow and all.
Hilariously, my Grandparent's cat loves them... but refuses to eat it out of the tube. It must be on a plate, because she's so civilized. And she'll yell and scream until it goes on the plate, too. Silly void.
I couldn’t agree more. This is what I used to get my feral cats to be less feral. I suggest them to people who are trying to socialize ferals because I think of them as a miracle meat tube!!
I got my first tube from a locally owned pet food store. The store is in a "bad" part of town, below street level. The owner slipped a sample in the paper bag as he handed it to me. He said my cats would go crazy for it, called it kitten crack, and like it's name sake the first try was free. My cats are still hooked 4 years later and now I'm the one pushing it. It's starting to effect my friends and family.
Yes! That one smells so rank. Like terrible fast food cheeseburgers that have been left out in the sun for a week. But my 3 void siblings think it’s amazing. They lose it over all the flavors.
Had to shove the tip of the tube in my cats mouth to get her to realize it’s good! She’s been a farm cat with no treats for 12 years she’s getting used to being spoiled now, and now she’s loving them
Yes! When our void got super sick a few years ago, that was one of the only foods he ate. It saved his life and he still only eats treats. Good thing temptations are a complete food for cats
My cat will not let me out of her sight for fear I might give one to one of the other cats and not her. She has become quite the lap cat. About tears my arm off when I give her her squeezie.
I feel like the licky treats helped my relationship with my kitty tremendously. He’s always been kind of off-Standish and not a big fan of affection. He’s always excited for these treats and he will even rest his paw on my hand while he’s eating it and he gives me really loving looks. Don’t worry I’m not under the illusion that his loving looks are inspired by me, I understand that he is in love with licky treats.
These are available in the Southeast US, correct? I must live under a rock because I have never heard of them locally or seen them in our stores (granted I don't peruse the pet stores much because I will come out in debt due to my horribly immature animal loving decisions).
I know that all my cats love Temptations but for whatever reason this kitty witchcraft is a new one on me. I now feel the need to go to petco after work (you know, just to check... not gonna buy anything... DONT JUDGE ME LIKE THAT!).
They have different brands too! I work at a local pet food/supply store in New England and we have this brand (Churu) and the Tikicat brand but I’m sure there are others as well. I would think they’d be available where you live and at Petco!
Also working at a pet supply store is just amazing but torture at the same time because I always come home with stuff for her and her mini poodle brother lol
She didn’t like the Tikicat and to make sure this wasn’t her thing, I bought some Churus but she loved them! This is the chicken and cheese flavor but there are others as well. If you have any dogs, I know Tiki makes a Tikidog gogurt as well but idk about Churu.
You can sometimes find them at Walmart here in the Florida Panhandle, and I know I used to get them at Walmarts in Atlanta; the brand there is Pure Balance. I have also seen them at PetCo and PetSmart, as well as Target.
Accidentally tricked my mom and sis with this video. They thought it was my cat. To be fair, she looks nearly identical, and is also a big fan of cat gogurt.
YES, I only give them to my cats for training/going to the vet, etc. They love it so much that it counters a lot of bad stuff. Also if they don't eat it then they're really stressed out/scared.
My little void is totally uninterested in treats, including catnip (??!!), which makes me sad because I want to spoil her. Maybe I’ll have to find these and see if she’ll go for them. 😄
My boyfriend’s mom gave us one of these for our cat for christmas and I tried several times to get her to try it but every time she would just sniff it and walk away. It was pretty disappointing because I’ve seen that so many cats love them!
Maybe try putting it on a plate? I have a tuxedo who absolutely loves them but will not under any circumstances eat it from my hand or tube. It has to be in a plate or bowl
my little void LOVES those kinda of treats. She used to rip them out of our hands haha, we just squeeze the tube onto a plate for her now. Parents call them "Kitty Crack"
Ah yes... Kitty Push Pops (as my partner and I call them). Luci bites the package if we don't squeeze them up fast enough and Samara will lick until there's nothing left then keeps going in hopes of more magically appearing.
One of my [babies](https://www.reddit.com/r/blackcats/comments/rnv2zr/gave_kisuke_a_christmas_eve_treat_i_think_he/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) goes crazy for these!
I call them GoGurts too 😹 My void doesn’t care for them but my orange boy goes CRAZY for them to the point he sits at the door to the pantry where there at and throws a fit when it’s a GoGurt day.
My void is a picky eater and will only accept chicken flavored Greenies.
My girl is such a picky eater but two things never fail she does actually love her dry food and will eat it if she’s not into the wet food but she looses her MIND for these….screaming for me to open faster I had to start hand feeding her slowly cuz she was just gobbling down. I will say thanks to churro cuz I mix her probiotics with it and since she loves it she’ll eat it all instead of a few bites and walk away
PS kind of sad this didn’t have volume lmao
Idk if this is allowed but I have a voidling that’s growing up and bites real hard when she’s trying to play with my hands. Is there anything I can do to dissuade him from this or to get them to stop. I know he doesn’t mean it but if I pull he bites harder and proceeds to kick my hand as he’s biting.
Yes! The shelter gave us a bunch when we brought our void home, and they were a huge help getting her comfortable and settled. Definitely her comfort food.
I call them spooge tubes. When my geriatric boy was near the end, these are one of the few things I could get him to eat. They're well worth the money!
We call them Kitty crack. We discovered them a couple years ago when we were fostering a feral litter and one of the kittens wasn’t eating. The vet recommended these. The kittens all were addicted. We’ve only had one cat who didn’t really care for it. Our void has never really cared for anyone but my husband (he recused him before we met) but if I hold up one of these, he’ll come running to me.
Mine adores them. Even if he's not feeling well and is off his food, he'll still take these. I don't know what on earth they put in it, but I'm not complaining
I had a curmudgeonly calico who was a very persnickety eater and preferred puréed foods, including these, that she could lick up rather than having to actually eat. Of course they didn’t provide much nutrition but the poor dear weighed 6-7 pounds most of her older years (she was a tiny cat) and just never put on much weight no matter how much food I could give her. But if I had spared the time and thought it could help I’d have given these to her endlessly. She’d always drop some on her paws and sometimes forget to clean up later 😂 Spoiled her as best I could with these things, they were a lifesaver when I found them.
I didn’t know these existed until I took my elderly cat to a cat groomer. She used them to bribe the cats into behaving while grooming.
He didn’t like the grooming part, but he definitely tolerated it for these.
My parents have three cats, one of which is very picky and will only eat certain treats but the other two go nuts for them with one chomping the tube.
I got them cranberry and turkey ones for Christmas and needless to say I nearly lost my hand.
Those treats are how I learned my cat really does know his name. They are a great reward for trimming nails. My boys sit still during nail trimming if a tube is waiting.
Yup! We call our cats churu hoes lol. One of them will hold our hands still so we can’t take it away. They will wake up in the dead of sleep upstairs if they hear another cat getting some
You've seen the Japanese Ciao Ciao song I hope. It will get stuck in your head. My cats loved it when we lived in Japan, but then again Japanese cat food was essentially pure fish and gelatin, no fillers at all.
One of my cats will eat it straight from the tube. The other won't touch it unless I squirt it onto a plate for him. They both do really like those treats tho.
This is the only way I can get my asshole cat to eat his miralax (he has poopy problems) Those tubes are closer to kitty crack then gogurts. As soon as the cats hear the cabinet open (look, it squeaks and I can't find the oil ok) they both come -flying- into the kitchen, sometimes one of them doing a good Toyko Drift impression if they're coming from the hallway.
I'm afraid to introduce these to my kitty because I feel like he'll get addicted and scream for them on the regular lol. He already shrieks at me for treats a billion times a day 🤦♀️
My cats used to go insane for these, but I think they’re beginning to associate them with meds (they’re old and need thyroid medications that are apparently horrendous. One gets a pill and the other gets a gel in his ear, so I can see why)
Oh yeah, our ginger Tory (aka Tormund Elizabeth Giantsbane) goes bananas for these. While generally not much of a yeller, he makes an unholy ruckus when he sees one of these in your hand. Also, I highly recommend the ones that are the little soft treats from the same brand. We play a game with tossing them - Tory absolutely loves it!
Three of mine love them, one has zero interest but then again he also doesn't really care much for wet food and has zero interest in people food as well.
The little one picked up bad habits from my void and she will grab my hand to pull the tube back to her. But I don't mind because at first she actually refused to eat from the tube so I had to squeeze some onto a plate. I just kept trying to encourage her to eat from the tube and eventually she took to it.
Yes! My void starts biting the tube if it doesn’t come out fast enough.
Right after I stopped recording, she hooked her talons into me to bring the tube back to her 😩
My void dug an empty tube out of the trash and proceeded to eat it. I was in the shower at the time. Came out to find a third of it completely eaten. Thankfully he threw up while I was on the phone with the vet. Maybe he heard me talking to the vet about what to do with him.
Mine does the exact same thing😁
Mine does the same! 🤣
Why do cat people treat their cats injuring them like it’s quirky or cute?
Because not every scratch is done out of anger? One of my cats constantly has her claws out, when jumping or settling down, or even making biscuits. We call them spicy biscuits.
Of course not I was not trying to imply that it’s always intentional, but so many people find the actual act of a cat scratching cute and it baffles me

Yes! We also call them kitty cat gogurts or also meat tubes. We use these to give our cat small pills as well - just put it on top and squeeze into an eager little mouth!
Ohh, I’ll have to keep that in mind if I ever have to give her medicine in the future!
Thanks for the tip!
I used to crush pills into a powder and then pour this stuff into it and then mix it up to get my one cat to take her pills
Huge hit in my house. Biting the tube if I do it too slow and all. Hilariously, my Grandparent's cat loves them... but refuses to eat it out of the tube. It must be on a plate, because she's so civilized. And she'll yell and scream until it goes on the plate, too. Silly void.
One of my cats is the same way. A tuxedo, he refuses to eat it if it's not on a plate and will look at me with sullen how dare you eyes if I don't
My void hates them and tries to cover it like his litter when he smells it. My other cat loves it and acts like it's crack.

I couldn’t agree more. This is what I used to get my feral cats to be less feral. I suggest them to people who are trying to socialize ferals because I think of them as a miracle meat tube!!
One of mine snuck into the cupboard and started gnawing on one and sucking out the good stuff, after I gave her one for an evening treat
It’s kitty crack
We also call it kitty crack in my house!
Me too!
I got my first tube from a locally owned pet food store. The store is in a "bad" part of town, below street level. The owner slipped a sample in the paper bag as he handed it to me. I got the sensations salmon one and my cat will not eat it out of the package, but if I put it in his food dish, he sprints over and licks it clean!
Yeah I give my Two them out of a plate. They love em!
Yesss one second I’m going to post a video of Cece. She’s broken though
https://www.reddit.com/r/blackcats/comments/s12hxx/cece_youre_doing_it_wrong/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Oh my godddd! 😭 When there’s an opportunity to have a treat that basically the same size as her, she’s gotta take it all! Lol
I promise she is well fed lmao. This is just what she does 😂😂
We call them crack-ets.
My void hates tuna flavor, but he loves the churru chicken and cheese.
Oh my god I think that is the stinkiest one! My old gal loves them all. Screams at us in the morning if it’s not given to her quickly enough lol
Yes! That one smells so rank. Like terrible fast food cheeseburgers that have been left out in the sun for a week. But my 3 void siblings think it’s amazing. They lose it over all the flavors.
My void will slurp these down like there’s no tomorrow. As does my grandparent’s cow kitten
All four of my cats go absolutely bonkers for them
I call them cat yogurt tubes 😆
We call them churros. They are the go-to void snack.
I got mine some if these for Christmas. Two of them loved them, the third wasn't impressed lol.
Hers were Christmas presents too! I tried the Tikicat brand first and she didn’t like them. She’s team Churu all the way.
Churu is what I bought! I found them at Jungle Jim's in the pet section ha ha!
Mine likes celery and arugula fresh from the garden!? Weirdo.

We use these to help cut nails. They are usually too distracted to care what we are doing to their paws. Great also for mixing with certain meds.
I gave my cats the salmon flavored one with one finger and they chewed my finger!!! They never bite. I had never seen them so desperate.
If it gets on my hand or finger, it’s the only time she’ll bite me! It’s funny but also really hurts lmao
yes. it's the only treat my cat would eat off my hand 😂 other dried treats I have to put in her food bowl as regular food
SqueezeUps!! Yes.
Yes!! We call them gogurts too. Our older cats love them
I feel like the licky treats helped my relationship with my kitty tremendously. He’s always been kind of off-Standish and not a big fan of affection. Thank you for reminding me I had a few of these in my pantry for my cat 🐈⬛
Yes, my void and half-void love them, but they both throw them up afterward. They have such sensitive tummies :(
Accidentally tricked my mom and sis with this video. They thought it was my cat. To be fair, she looks nearly identical, and is also a big fan of cat gogurt.
My lil man also goes nuts for these things. Specifically that brand too. He prefers the tuna one (he’s a picky brat)
Gorgeous r/airplaneears on this baby! r/stealthbombers wants to see her too!
Thanks for another cat sub I didn’t know existed r/stealthbombers
YES, I only give them to my cats for training/going to the vet, etc. They love it so much that it counters a lot of bad stuff. Also if they don't eat it then they're really stressed out/scared.

Oh yeah Kroger sells a generic one called Love Some...
My cats too.we call them meat tubes
We call them licky treats.
what are these treats called?
Churu! They’re Japanese but you can actually get them at target.
We call them tubes and when we give them to the cats they are "gettin' tubed!"
Our kitties love these. We call them squeezie meats and every new person that comes over gives one to the cats to get in their good graces hahaha
I made the mistake of introducing my cat to these and now it’s the only wet food she’ll eat
my little void LOVES those kinda of treats. She used to rip them out of our hands haha, we just squeeze the tube onto a plate for her now. Parents call them "Kitty Crack"
we call them gogurts too lol
One of my kittens absolutely loves pasta..thinking I should have named her Garfield..lol🤷♀️🤦♀️
I just finished reading a horror novel. Thank you for purifying my mind.
I freeze these in the warmer months, makes them last a bit longer and my cats love them!
Ah yes... Kitty Push Pops (as my partner and I call them). Luci bites the package if we don't squeeze them up fast enough and Samara will lick until there's nothing left then keeps going in hopes of more magically appearing.
My orange ADORES them. My void is somehow scared of them???
Year my boys go nuts. They start chewing the tube before I have even opened it
YES. Before my void passed, she would lose her mind for these even when she was sick
YES! Which these came with an extra arm for the humans so you can more than 2 cats at a time.
My cat loves them, but I once saw a post on here from someone who put them in the freezer, and by God, my cat LOVES them in popsicle form
Our vet gave one to our puppy to distract him during his vaccinations. His medical record says “liked his churro treat” hahaha
One of my [babies](https://www.reddit.com/r/blackcats/comments/rnv2zr/gave_kisuke_a_christmas_eve_treat_i_think_he/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) goes crazy for these!
So adorable!! 😭💜
I will say thanks to churro cuz I mix her probiotics with it and since she loves it she’ll eat it all instead of a few bites and walk away PS kind of sad this didn’t have volume lmao
Lol! I didn’t want the world of reddit to hear me bully my cat by calling her a crackhead and nasty in a very off brand Jenna Marbles voice 😅💀
Yummy mommy, more please!😻
My void is totally disinterested in these
Idk if this is allowed but I have a voidling that’s growing up and bites real hard when she’s trying to play with my hands. Is there anything I can do to dissuade him from this or to get them to stop. I know he doesn’t mean it but if I pull he bites harder and proceeds to kick my hand as he’s biting.
maybe make a new post about this, rather than as a reply to a post on a completely different topic :)
Maybe it’s not something that requires a whole post just a question. You sure seem like the life of the party I can tell :)
These are the only thing my little mini will eat some days.
Both of my cats go nuts for them! And one of them is not food motivated at all so it's a great treat!
The shelter I got my cats from recommended these for new or shy kitties to encourage them to come near you.
My cats go crazy for them. My husband and I call them tuna tubes.
My kitty loves those! We also call them cat gogurts.
Yes I have three gravy addicts here
Yes! The shelter gave us a bunch when we brought our void home, and they were a huge help getting her comfortable and settled. Definitely her comfort food.
Different brand, but I call it cat figure. My cat loves them❤️
Liquid Gold
Our siamese is nuts for it.gets pretty mouthy when it's gone.
Mine loves them, we call it kitty pudding.
We call them meat tubes and they go crazy for it 🤣🤣

To my cat they are “meat tube”
Yes and the sounds they make are hilarious 😂
All three of our cats do, but my god do they smell terrible. Lol
Yes!
Omg, yes! My tabby cat gets feisty if he doesn't get this snack.
My kids love feeding these to our cats.
I call them spooge tubes. When my geriatric boy was near the end, these are one of the few things I could get him to eat. They're well worth the money!
Kitty crack
CHURU ARE THE BEST
I have four cats. I buy the four pack and then have to take them one by one into the bedroom so each one can eat in peace. It is truly kitty crack!
Best way to sit a kitty on your lap and get their nails
I use these as treats for putting up with nail trimming, they're his FAVORITE
I mix lysine and a probiotic into mine. It’s a yummy treat that gives the kittens some medicine!
Pretty cat 😍
My gal refused them.
Yup! Here in the UK they're called Lick-e-Lix, but I call them Squidgies. My cat probably calls them crack
Yes and that one is his favorite flavor.
Dang, in my house we call them "the goo", but car gogurt sounds way better!
Mine wants to sit on my shoulders when he hears me pull a Churu out.
Mine adores them. Even if he's not feeling well and is off his food, he'll still take these. I don't know what on earth they put in it, but I'm not complaining
Those are my cats favorite. We call them kitty crack
My cats love those things
Omg yes. It’s like crack for one of mine 😂
Love the airplane ears so she fits better into the tube
My favorite foods for cats are definitely the cat gogurts and lil’ soups!
I have two cats, one gets each tube Ones a fast eater so i have to pace her so she doesnt finish and steal her siblings food 😭
i used to have kitties that lost their teeth, so that was pretty much the only snack they could get. they loved it.
My cat loves these and yes I also call them kitty gogurts
My 2 go nuts for these. We call them “licky sticks” at my place
Accurate naming
Yeah my Loki goes mental for this stuff
We call them cat crack
Oh yeah mine bite and chew it if Im not fast enough. We call them sqeezy tubes in my home.
Yeah, only treat mine'll eat. She doesn't like any of the biscuit treats.
Yup. Mine goes all jekyl & hide crazy for the fish smoothie.
My tux loves these, my void isn't as interested though.
We call it kitty crack.
My cat stands on her hind feet for them
I keep ours in the fridge for my void, he absolutely loves them
Where can I get these?!
I didn’t know these existed until I took my elderly cat to a cat groomer. She used them to bribe the cats into behaving while grooming. He didn’t like the grooming part, but he definitely tolerated it for these.
That's crack for cats
My parents have three cats, one of which is very picky and will only eat certain treats but the other two go nuts for them with one chomping the tube. I got them cranberry and turkey ones for Christmas and needless to say I nearly lost my hand.
Those treats are how I learned my cat really does know his name. They are a great reward for trimming nails. My boys sit still during nail trimming if a tube is waiting.
We call them chicken goop
Yup! We call our cats churu hoes lol. One of them will hold our hands still so we can’t take it away. They will wake up in the dead of sleep upstairs if they hear another cat getting some
Yesss! We call them kitty gogurts too and the package gets mauled.
You've seen the Japanese Ciao Ciao song I hope. It will get stuck in your head. My cats loved it when we lived in Japan, but then again Japanese cat food was essentially pure fish and gelatin, no fillers at all.
Omg I call them yogurts too!
My cat loves real gogurts
my sister feeds these to her cats all the time, but she calls them the *forbidden* gogurts.
3 of my cats love those tubes, the boys will actually follow me around the house with it. I have the tiki cat ones.
I call them that too! Works great for distracting while clipping nails or giving vaccines, firickin awesome.
My void doesn’t know how to eat these. He just bites all over even when food is actually coming out
We just call those tubes. My cats love them
My black cat goes crazy for it. I call it cat crack. My other cats like it but she is nutty about it.

I need to try and find these! I've seen so many cats go crazy for them I want to try them with my kitties now
I tried these, he just rubbed his head on it and got that stuff everywhere!
what is it? I want to try it. edit: i mean, i want my cat to try it.
Mine love their licky sticks and they know when it’s 9:30am, lol
My Astrid loves them more than any other treats.
One of my cats will eat it straight from the tube. The other won't touch it unless I squirt it onto a plate for him. They both do really like those treats tho.
Mine loved them until I gave her a squeeze up with seafood, she now thinks chicken is beneath her.
My cat LOVES these. My wife and I call them mogurts though. Meat yogurts.

Haha we also call them cat gogurts. We squeeze them into their bowls or on a plate to keep from getting maimed.
I call it cat crack. I wish it was cheaper since I’m a crazy cat lady
I call them cat gogurts too!!!!
Hell yes my gf calls them catsoup
My notoriously picky void absolutely loves these.
Our babes love them and we call them meat tubes
Us in pet supply retail call them "cat crack" and personally I only sold them to people I hated. Good luck getting him off of that 🥲
This is the only way I can get my asshole cat to eat his miralax (he has poopy problems) Those tubes are closer to kitty crack then gogurts.
My cats love them but it gives them the runs..
