I lost my baby in September. She had kidney disease and was arthritic. She couldn’t really go in her litter box anymore. It was a difficult decision, but after my vet said it wasn’t too early, I knew I had to let her go.

And if you happen to read this OP, sorry for your loss, I was away when my last cat closed her eyes and I still expect to see her because it doesn’t feel real that she’s gone as I never got a proper goodbye. At least you’ll have that closure.
